  1. Here is a great little thread that walks you through the "disappearing money" in trumps golf course.
  2. Did... Eric trump just come out as Gay?
  3. Good luck! The test is not bad, the wait is annoying though. Good on you for going though- others around you thank you.
  4. Not sure what all the "LOLing" is about: that's his point, you get all butt-hurt when no one buys into your opinion and then they counter it with their own take with their own facts to support their position. I mean your previous post is just whining about nobody being open minded to your way of thinking. "Everyone is leaving cuz, no one hears the truth.", "All the good people are leaving because of the people who don't see my way and challenge me on it.", "Every post I don't agree with is absolute nonsense." After all the good people that agree with me leave, the only thing left are the "leftovers" who masturbate over each other (the **** is wrong with you?) with stuff I don't agree with.", "This place will be a ghost town if people don't open up their minds, re-align their moral compass and accept my point of view." And then the ominous warning of ourbombers... I have always read what you post when I come across it. You have a position on many things that I don't share, that's cool. I always want to know why you feel the way you do about certain topics and will fully listen to your reasoning. If I disagree with your reasoning or facts or what ever, I will always question them and/or counter with facts of my own. But, when you just piss on all those that disagree with you, because they don't agree with you... that's not cool. Also, if I am ever shouting you down, please remind me that I am doing exactly that and I will try to be more civil. Anyways, I do look forward to your posts in the controversial threads, you often offer up food for thought and make me examine why I believe the things I do, thanks for that.
  5. yeah, count me in as part of team: WHO. Good thread on the importance of being part of WHO.
  6. Didn't a prosecutor go to jail for this very thing? Interesting to see how this plays out. On another note: Yeah- they would recruit him, he would be a golden ticket that is so easily handled... It's kind of frightening to see what information he will sell after he's out of office... he will be the stoolie that keeps on giving... Rememeber, ex-presidents have access to intelligence briefings even after they leave office...
  7. This a really good article dealing with the appointment of Barret and the implications the way, timing and roll out of the nomination entails.
  8. The difference between Philando Castile's death and this are stark.
  9. So much eroding of protections for the 99%
  10. Was totally expecting this... but still really sucks to see
  11. Yeah, I don't understand why people are losing their **** over this- it was expected. The Republicans have no morals, shame, or integrity, why were people disappointed that the lot of them comport themselves in a hypocritical, sanctimonious and generally people of low character manner, it's expected. You don't think trumpism isn't seeping into Canada? I mean, Jason Kenny is a poor man's trump and he is premier of wild rose country. He ran on a populist platform like trump did... and it worked. The expectation of norms in the USA also affects what is acceptable here in Canada. I mean, I find myself affected by it- I have given Trudeau far too many passes because my bar is set @ trump right now. "Trudeau-We scandal raises concerns over government granted contract"- I'm all... "Yeah sure, that doesn't look good, but is it really that bad... I mean trump installed a donor loyalist as Post Master General to break the USPS because he wanted to **** with mail in voting during a pandemic..." I should be a lot more concerned about the We scandal than I have been... What happens down south affects us a lot more than most think.
  12. I guess it's the fact I don't feel that it's either one or the other- I can ***** about both problems, I don't feel that if I ***** about one, it nullifies my bitching about the other. Also, what happens in the USA... generally seeps into our great Country- in a much milder form I concede, but still seeps nonetheless. It's kind of like when people say "Why are you donating to African famine relief? You have hungry people in your own country. Why don't you take care of them instead?" 1- You can do both. 2- If you can't help both; maybe help out the people that don't have a safety net. Because one group's worst day is a whole lot worse than the other's. 3- Responsibility of privilege. If you are in a place of privilege, it is your responsibility to help those less fortunate.
  13. Aaron nailed it. This was one of the very reasons I thought it was completely stupid that the Anti-Centrist Democrats would throw away their vote like that... this is one of the MAJOR repercussions of their protest vote... ******* stupid then, ******* scary now.
  14. Yes, I think the occasion would call for this mask:
  15. Now this is some next level Get Out The Vote campaign. #GetYaBootyToThePolls Props to them for making down ballot vote front and center.
  16. I can't find a useful map about covid cases in the city broken down by areas with useful numbers.
  17. Holy ****. Wow... Florida is the most corrupt state in the USA. That is not hyperbole either- Fla is the most corrupt. He will appoint some one from Fla to the SCOTUS.
  18. I am not so sure about letting your opponents in on your plan is a good thing: Sure, it might seem like a good idea to threaten with this... but if I were an evil **** like McConnell, I would do exactly what Schumer is threatening to do here right after the elections- expand the SC and pack the it with right wing extremists.
  19. Now we wait and see what he does.
  20. Oh FFS, 2020 is the ******* worst.
