Had to turn it off. How many times do you really want to watch a train wreck?

Could not figure that out. I was at the game and thought maybe I was seeing it from a bad angle, but the replays certainly didn’t show the need to make a move there. That being said, the move to get him free was a peach.

That seems like a very reasonable deal.

I was kind of hoping to get a look at Washington, but I understand why they're going with Tompkins. As long as it's not Lankford! And yeah, he couldn't do much less than Bowman did.... Tompkins could actually surpass what Bowman did in 1 game.

Fair enough. I'm not sure I agree that Tanev is much better... He has more experience at the NHL level and Maurice seems to love him, but he is, IMO, a pretty limited player. I'm also not sure Lemieux hasn't started 'putting it together'. He had 43 points in 51 games last year, up from 19 in 61, the year before. Obviously, stats don't tell the whole story, but that's a nice move in his 2nd year. I went to a couple of Moose games last year, and he stood out, in a good way. Haven't seen him enough to know how he is defensively or on the PK, but I'd like to see him get a shot.

I get the Tanev signing, but couldn't Lemieux fill that roll now? And possibly have some upside?

Darrin Bauming‏ @DarrinBauming Winnipeg's DBs are banged-up. The #Bombers have now signed three defensive backs over the past eight days, as International Chris Humes was brought back today. Humes was cut out of camp in early June. Looks like Alexander will be available.

Did they take away Harris? Or did LaPo overthink things after halftime? I feel like Harris only had a few carries in the 2nd half... I haven't looked up the stats, but it seemed like a guy averaging over 10 yards a carry, should have been given the ball more often.

I'm not positive, but I think I read somewhere that he was put on the 6 game. Not great for our special teams to be missing him and Jones

Chandler Fenner has not practised so Moe Leggett was filling in at dime back (SAM), but Leggett seems to have tweaked something in practice today. Not sure how the officials could miss it, but if they did, what about the infamous 'eye in the sky'? Aren't they supposed to jump in when something blatant is missed? I could see it from my seat, but it wasn't the best angle, so I can't say if it was egregious or not. He certainly tried to kick Miles though.
