  1. Past hour
  2. the steps he took on the fly last yr was phenomenal...so another yr...some NFL exposure.....if he is back he hits the ground running....garuanteed And that's the thing here...we don't give up and comers a true shot unless we have nobody because of injury....and when we do have to go that route it generally pans out real well. This holding on to past glory with vets needs to be trimmed down. And when Osh made that comment "when you look at a guys film from yrs ago...you can see what he brings"....was a huge red flag in my opinion....and why he is how he is.....past film from yrs past doesn't equate to continued sucess/dominance moving forward...especially in football...he needs to let that go and get the best guys on the field regardless of who they are...where they from and how long they been here
  3. As much as I diss and loathe other teams especially the Argo's and Riders who deserve it 🙂 (c'mon they do), I'm ultimately here for the CFL and I'm genuinely concerned for our league if I'm being serious. I don't take myself seriously but I take the health of our great league very seriously.
  4. if we piss it away due to much of the same crap....Change may be a good thing...an 11 yr run as a HC is a long tenure in any sport....and as much as many dont like to believe....if we move on from a coach or 2...things wont fall off a cliff....the way we do business and the culture is what it is...and we wont be getting rid of all our key core either....not gonna happen,
  5. Man, if he takes a step forward as a year 2 guy and with some grooming in the NFL, he could be really good. I'd love to see that. It feels like, in general, the CFL has gone away from smaller YAC/cut-back runners and more to big, slower possession guys. Which I don't love.
  6. That's a fair point. If we piss away this season though, I think things will get ugly. The casual fans aren't going to be happy with us not going the extra mile to win the GC in a host year. Instead of a few of us being upset with roster management, it'll get much bigger. I've got love for all the mafia guys, past and current. They've got to do more than maintain, though.
  7. Pokey was showing signs of that....slippery and got yards at times outta nowhere...and had some sick moves in open field....hopefully if he gets back and some time in an NF environment he will come back even better
  8. yup...healthy discussion about pro's and con's is equally warranted...as are differing opinions...hence....discussion board
  9. No doubt. I had a lot of hope going into this season that the league would see the passing of the torch. With Brown, Alexander, and Rourke stepping into the top tier of QBs. But injuries across the board have badly derailed the QBing in the league. Not only that, though, we need the next Charles Roberts and similar players. Grant is electric with the ball in his hands. But the league in general doesn't have many guys who are must-watch when they have the ball.
  10. What some don't realize is you can have both, i.e., trust, love, admiration, appreciation and loyalty to this 'trinity' but still question some of their decisions. Calling out the good and the bad is okay as long as the pendulum doesn't consistently swing too far at each end.
  11. For the sake of the leagues health, I hope so.
  12. Yeah I was surprised. Zacks record as a starter in 2018 with sask was 10-4. Then officially he took the L in week 1 in that infamous game in 2019 so he finished up 10-5 there. As the weeks go by, I'll go in and update these numbers too.
  13. Today
  14. Probably mostly learned how to hit people in the mouth.
  15. well he did change one thing...how he ran camp....but.....that was not just on him.....it was questioned from voices above 😁 He hasnt learned tho yet how to make your roster the deepest...or to intigrate and determine viable back-ups....major flaw and 2-6 start...8-1 start...means a nag of turds when then end result is falling flat on face due to preventable reasons and not learning from past performance...thats the biggest flaw....wonder what his grades in school were like with that mentality
  16. I'd rather compliment the Argo's than the Riders hahaha....tho they rarely do anything compliment worthy so I think we safe hahaha
  17. I think our scheme will make the bad Vaj appear....and missing the Vet Beggleton aint gonna help their receiving group
  18. ZC could have even better numbers if not for the shitshow he was in Sask and end of his time in Ham
  19. Let's just ensure the bad VAJ makes an appearance tonight.......
  20. I see Blue....it looks glorious!! 😁
  21. Glorious and BLUE, LET’S GO!!
  22. Pretty interesting breakdown. I did a breakdown of Zach's playoff and GC stats after the last couple of losses. It'd be interesting to compare the 3s regular season, playoffs, and GC stats per game. I think it is important to note that the era Flutie played in was very different from Zach and BLM. Aside from the steady rise in talent level/athleticism/size of players, the ratio changes and volume of Cahoon esq fake NIs have changed the game a lot. Flutie is the greatest to ever play in the CFL imo. With the biggest gap between him and his competitors. Winning on different teams at the level he did is pretty impressive, too. Part of me thinks that eventually records fall and Goats are replaced. But Idk about Flutie. The nature of the NFL poaching CFL talent now, and the NFL's increased willingness to take all types and sizes of QBs, it is hard to imagine his standard being beaten.
  23. Yeah he nowhere near healed yet...maybe the Stamps wanted some Intel in how we roll the defence
  24. For clarity, Bighill isn't playing. but newly signed Kyle Wilson is.
  25. Liverpool star Diogo Jota dies at 28 in car crash in Spain Liverpool soccer star Diogo Jota has died in a car crash in Spain with his younger brother, the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) said. The 28-year-old Jota, who won the Premier League title with Liverpool last season and played for Portugal’s national team, got married to Rute Cardoso just two weeks ago. The couple have three children together. The crash occurred near Zamora in northwestern Spain. Jota’s brother, André Silva, was also killed, according to the FPF. Silva, 26, played for Penafiel in the second tier of Portuguese soccer. https://www.cnn.com/2025/07/03/sport/diogo-jota-liverpool-death-spt
  26. Don't ever question The Trinity. They walk on water. They are beyond reproach. I see no difference between losing three straight Grey Cups as compared to 3 straight Western Finals. Losing is still losing.
  27. Bradys back, Bighill gonna see ghosts, LETS ******* GO!!!!!!!
