I see wins against Ott, Edm and one of Sask/Mtl/Ham. The Mtl game end of season may be a nothing game for Mtl but could be a playoff implication for us. Guess it depends who we get back from the injury list. But make the playoffs and it’s a whole new season

Yup. Elks still learning how to win. They ain’t there yet. They were handed basically 28 points and lost. If Zach is back soon (this week even) I like our chances more. If we relying on Strev or Wilson to win games, yeah not as optimistic turns out zachs injury is neck and not concussion either so bet he’s back soon. Unless of course Zach has some thoughts of retiring but didn’t look like it. He was throwing the ball pre game yesterday yawning on the sidelines.

Yes he will because there is zero upside and he’s not ever going to be healthy. do some of you think Streveler was more than just a gadget QB? Cuz he really wasn’t. He was a run only really guy with a terrible throwing motion. Now he can’t run. I don’t see why any team would see any upside there. He can’t even do dives anymore. I mean, as a gadget QB he’s even done. Because he can’t and likely won’t be able to run anymore. If healthy. He won’t ever be healthy. If healthy you need your d and sp teams to score points to win. If healthy he’s still throwing more picks than tds. Oh his personality? So basically he becomes Damian Jackson. A guy on the roster not good enough but hey he’s well liked by everyone. Like Jake Thomas really. Not good enough but ppl like the guy so let’s keep him. What’s the difference really. Oh it’s cuz 6 7 years ago dude made a couple throws in a grey cup game and since then hasn’t.

Just having a guy like that on the sideline as a #3, firing guys up would be beneficial

Guy who has won games in this league isn't going to just disappear when you consider some of the absolutely abysmal guys who hang around rosters. That was tongue in cheek because of the state of our offense and people blaming the backup qb because it's easy.

Not a chance. Some of you can’t let the memories go. You want the fur coat wearing dude. Thing is, this is who that guy was also but that guy could out run D line. He’s the same QB who throws more picks than Tds that he was when he first started for us. That guy was healthy tho. This guy never will be cuz every game he starts he gets hurt almost, looks like he got hurt near the end.

Given what I said previously it'll be no surprise if I say I hope you're wrong. That kind of heart-on-your-sleeve passion is infectious. I hope he comes to camp, fully healed and shows...something.

Well that's just flat out wrong. Look how long guys like dom Davis kocked around. Strev has a lot more tread on his tires and if he's not here watch him go somewhere and suddenly learn how to play.

The truth is Streveler won’t be in the league next season. I wouldn’t bring him back. I mean why. Where’s the potential. It’s not there. From starter to backup to nfl to backup to starter to 3rd string? I don’t see that happening. It’s backup or out the league. Every time he had a chance to start this is the result, same in 2019 or whatever year he started b4 we signed Zach cuz Streveler wasn’t good enough.

Right...and truth is, whether it's what he wants or not, it's not like anyone is likely to be banging down his door to be a starter or even a #2.

If Streveler wasn’t your boy booch would you still feel the same cuz I think that’s clouding your judgment quite lots. Why keep him as a 3QB when he can’t run ppl over. What made Streveler special was his ability to run ppl over. He CANT do that anymore. His nfl stint made him worse.

I’m having conflicting feelings. Act like you’ve been there before versus sprinkling in a little more pizazz into our fine game. A little trash talking makes things more enjoyable and interesting, especially between coaches.
