  1. Past hour
  2. yeah that last game as well was pretty revealing...ther DB backfield was weak as it was, and now will have more injuries to deal with now it looks like And yeah...a few roster tweeks....an addition....we may be just setting up for that late season run...Is Houston/Dandy this yrs Taylor/Maston? And we really need Woods on with Adams, Person..WJ and Vaughters and then just pick the the best of Schmeck and Thomas to roll with Lawson...Or better yet sit one and give Bailey his shot and see how that works yeah...we've had no choices lol
  3. Well, all those choices now become tough ones, and that's much better than the choices we've had lately. Good lord, we've had a choice of Corcoran or Cobb....yikes...choosing between Schoen/Wilson/Sterns is like night and day difference. Getting Mitchell and his 2 catches for 6 yards a game off the field is a no brainer so I'm not including him.
  4. A refresher for those that need it (or just enjoy it). 😂
  5. IF we have a Wheatfall...Wilson..."healthy"Schoen...Demsji and Clercius then yeah thats a good group....Is Sterns relegated to PR/IR or do we DA him over Logan and let Vval do double duty, or does Dandy and Houston take the corner spots and Vaval is the extra db abd returner? I wanna see Logan get a few more games in and get his sea legs back as he could be a real nice extra piece for us
  6. That, with Demski being OK, would be gigantic. But boy, is all that a reach to happen on short notice.
  7. That has always been key against Harris. He gets rattled easily when hit.
  8. I've been saying for a while that Sask isn't what their record indicates. They've skated by on some smoke and mirrors. When I look at the last game, it gives me some optimism that we can turn it around, and once more punt the riders on the back-to-back. When I look at the previous month and the games most of this year, though, it gives me cause for concern. I think, as it often has, the roster makeup will be a strong indicator. If we get Lawson Jr. off for Houston/Dandy, get Woods on somehow, and get a serious boost to the WR somehow, it will be a great sign we are going to move in the right direction. Our DBs as is, with the heavy rotation of the 3 NI DTs over all imps, I don't think our D could hold up to the riders' O. And with out a much improved WR core, I don't think our O has a chance at keeping up with the riders O.
  9. I am thinking that if we do get a fully healthy Schoen and O. Wilson back that could be real game changers too.
  10. got his bell rung...hurt his ankle...we need to bring the heat, and he will be done like dinner
  11. I just think it’s no surprise really that the team with the healthy QB is leading the league and I think it’s just a matter of time before 40 year old Harris is carted off the field. I honestly thought he was injured against Calgary. They pulled him but he was definitely hurt and might still be. Hell does he even play this week.
  12. Will always remember how obnoxious the rider fans were in calgary in 2009 the day of the grey cup. That penalty on the field goal... was just amazing to see and feel them all get kicked in the nuts at the same time.
  13. yup...agree...and for all the criticism I give Osh I'd take him all day every day over Mace....guy not good HC...Not currently anyway
  14. yup....Cumulative effects may get him when they need him most....But then again...It's Harris and when teams needed him most before...he never showed up...ever We need to right out of gate bring the pressure...and knock him around early and often...and he will wilt like the guy we all know he is Dress Woods and Bailey and just go to town with solid rotation of our best actually for doing less...to the point of basically nothing other than grabbin his face mask and whincing
  15. The spotters have pulled collaros for doing similar.
  16. Riders got exposed by Calgary. Hopefully bombers take that template and expose them also. Riders tend to start off strong but the old saying the season begins Labour Day , well they historically tend to suck after. Don’t see why things would be different this year.
  17. That's what I was refering to. Seemed to be something that should be checked out. Then again, didn't something similar happen this year and he played in the next game?
  18. **** it, win back to back against the riders.
  19. Agree....and do we catch lightening in bottle again and take all 3?....possible...I like how ZC played and what they did with him.....the lack of a legit WR who he would continually risk poor throws to has made him be more cerebral and surgical....may be to our benefit now BO seems healthy To me we have talent inhouse here already...tho a small few lil tweeks/adds would do us wonders, it's in my opinion a matter in how we are coached and prepared and utilize what we have to the best ability....thats where I have some doubts as we suffer badly in that regard...but there been some signs of adaptation...so....
  20. acted like he was knocked out with the bizzare body movement stuff he was doing when he got up
  21. So Harris, did he get concussed last game? Took some good shots and its seemed like he did.
  22. I think 2-1 in the next 3 is very realistic. I don't think that either Saskatchewan or Hamilton are teams we cannot beat. We will have to bring our A game though.
  23. I can see a sweep by us possible...dont think Ssk is as good as what is being said, and they got physically wooped last week, so will be feeling it A split is historically reasonable, and possibly the likely result, but also being swept and looking somewhat bad and weak in both is highly likely and I say that as have zero faith in our coaching at moment and how we go about things. The saving grace tho I think is that Mace to me is somewhat a doofus, and luckily a worse coach than Osh...and that team is still undisciplined and for most part believe their hype and act like assbags on the field We have the pieces here, and solid vet leadership but we need to figure out how to use the pieces....funny gut feeling but truly think warts and all...we take both
  24. He is not eligible for the NFL International Player Pathway. Must be outside US/Canada passport. Doesn't matter where you played college, just passport designation.
  25. Hamilton might not be better than .500 when we play them. Their splits at home and vs the west are bad as well. Bc was above .500 when we beat them as well. I actually think Hamilton is the most likely to win for us. They are 2-2 at home and 2-4 vs the West. While we are 2-3 on the road, we are also just 3-3 vs the West. With all that said, though, since the schedule is so poorly balanced, it is really hard to place value on the strength of schedule and record vs X situation. So damn many home and away series, season series wrapped up in 1/3 of the year, 2 away games in 5 days, type of situations. I think the road to us winning 2 of 3 would likely start with a blowout in the LDC. If we get slapped and SSK hangs a big number, they might have a considerable hangover in the BJB and struggle on O, giving us a chance to finally answer back for being punched in the mouth. Then, if we roll that into some momentum in Hamilton, we could thread the needle and turn lemons into lemonade. I think that would likely require some tough changes after the LDC, though. I think the likely case is that we get swept, and that's the wake-up call to bring some urgency to Hamilton. Our "one week at a time" thing went from playing each game like the play offs to preping for each game like its week 1. And the previous games review went from not getting too big a head from winning most weeks to writting off loses cus hey it's a new week and we just go 1-0!
