I know we're a bit off topic here but the Bombers had a true hero play for them in the 1930's. His name was Jeff Nicklin. He was from Fort William, Ontario but grew up in Lord Roberts. he lived there & got married there at St. Albans Anglican Church. I grew up on the other side of Osborne Street in Riverview so I'm proudto knowing Nicklin who heroically sacrificed everything for this country lived in the area where I grew up. The Jeff Nicklin Trophy is given to the Western Division's MOP. Last year, Brady Oliveira won it.
