Medlock - A Class Guy

From the Bombers FB page:

For every field goal scored by Justin Medlock at home games this season, one of our key community partners will donate $100 for each yard over 45 to Variety, the Children’s Charity of Manitoba. These donations will also be matched by Justin himself! This means that on Medlock's 47 yard field goal last night, $400 was donated to Variety, the Children's Charity of Manitoba.

that's really cool.  Thanks for sharing.

He might have just won the hearts of a lot of Bomber fans with this! That's awesome of him! It's a good thing it's not $100 for ever yard or he'd be broke lol.

LOL - yeah if he's on payroll deduction he'd be getting negative paychecks.  Like my niece who works at the Bay and buys more cosmetics than she gets paid.

Very nice gesture.  Not taking away any credit due to him for the offer, and he will have some to pay, I would be hoping he kicks way more converts than field goals.

What a great initiative.

good for him! He's going to be a great addition to the team.

he must have more faith in a Lapo offense than some of us if he thinks he's going to be making shorter kicks than 45 yards.

that kick last night will cost him 1300. He's already donating more to charity than I do in a year, and he has 17 games left.
