Noeller
Taylor Hall being left off Team Canada is the single most egregious omission of any team. Can't wrap my head around it. The Unknown Poster and Floyd
Jimmy Pop
Name recognition over talent, I suppose. Ehlers is twice the player Vanek is now.

Noeller
Getzlaf should be there. Duchene, Marchand, Bergeron and Muzzin all extremely questionable picks. One thing I do love is no Subban, and no Flames on Team Canada. Tells me we have "hockey people" running things. Still misguided on Hall (perennial Top 10 scorer) but they're definitely hockey people...
Noeller
As for Perry, he's proven time and time again that he's a liability on the ice. Always taking stupid penalties at the worst time. Been his MO his entire career and he showed it to the whole world again this month in Russia. Don't blame them one bit for not taking the guy.... Goalie
Voynov won't be allowed to play. This is not an international ice hockey federation event. It's an nhl nhlpa event. Voynov won't be allowed to play. The world cup of hockey. But only people the nhl allows to play will play. It's just a cash grab for the nhl. It's actually really bad for international hockey. Floyd
Puulujarvi not on Team Finland? Burmi not even on the call list for Russia... Ehlers missing the cut is strange. Still wanted Pokka for Ladd. Team Sweden is proof that Enstrom is not considered a top NHL D...

Goalie
Not gonna get In to the enstrom Sweden issues again. Let's just say Sweden does something that enstrom would fail. Burmi sucks. Bottom line. He's not one of the best Russian players in the world. Puljujarvi? Must be injury related Ehlers? Yeah that's an interesting omission Chicago wouldn't give up Pokka plus he's yet another rhd Edited May 28, 2016 by Goalie

Ducky
Let's just say each side has a long memory. Pokka would have been a nice pick up...we really don't have a 3RHD unless you consider Postma one. The other 3 are better than a 3rd pairing. Pokka would have filled that spot nicely while learning the NHL game. It sure would be nice if they cleared up the expansion question(s). Just move the Coyotes to Vegas already. I couldn't agree more on Burmi and I know people are going to say, "he picked up his game in the last 15 or so games". With the talent we have coming up and some players needing to clear waivers that wouldn't, I hope he isn't on the Jets this fall. His PK time can be filled in by Armia and/or Copp. He is a 4th liner that should go to other young players. Trade him and Staf and Thorbs somewhere and clean out some dead weight. Staf will be on the team pushing every young player vying for a RW spot down a line. What is he, as a vet, going to teach the kids? How to disappear for games on end? How to diminish your linemates potential? His goal scoring will be replaced by Laine next season, we don't need him.
Goalie
Laine will be lucky to score 20 as a rookie. Stop maple leafing him.
