Stranded after a plane crash in the Rocky mountains, individual members of Winnipeg's hockey team respond differently. Group leader Andy tries to keep everyone's spirits up; rookie Nik diligently treats cases of frostbite and gangrene; loose cannon Buff gradually loses his composure. Once all available food stuffs run out, the group faces a terrible dilemma: eat one or more of their deceased teammates, or die.

Even if we don't get Mathews we will draft a very good player to add to the prospects hopefully they will have the right mix to be a playoff contender in a few years.

The kids are alright. 

Exciting when you see them have a game like tonight. And knowing we have Connor coming as well as some other good prospects and a good kid like Dano. May not be a playoff team for a couple of years but it could be a fun exciting couple of years

I'm already over the Ladd trade. It was bound to happen. The return was very nice. This team will be built through the youth with a few vets sprinkled in. Buff. Wheeler. Little altho I could see him being moved eventually.

Maybe. But that's three years away. I'm not sure they don't resogn him as a veteran

Burmi kills penalties and actually can't believe I'm going to say this cuz Burmi has been awful but tge last 5 games or so he's been much better.

2 or 3 year bridge...not sure how arbitration works with him but keep away from it. You pay him what he is worth so when his bridge is over he knows and expects to be paid fairly. He is worth 2-3 years at 2-2.25m in my opinion. Armia really tilts that trade if you ask me. Oduya had to watch the replay to figure it out.......

Lowry should play a little more inspired like he did tonight. I liked Hutch's game but the 3rd? goal would have been stopped by a Jr. B goalie.

Man the youngsters we have in this system sure look promising. Matthews would be so huge to this franchise. Getting a bona fide 1LHD sure would be nice too. Chevy is going to have a lot of assets in 2-3 years and will be able to fine tune the team with what he has stockpiled.

I wonder if there is more trades to come?

 

I forgot, if I were Maurice, I would have had Armia on more towards the end of the game to try to get him his hatty.

Not much, he came on with just under 30 seconds to go after the PP ended. I would have played him the full 2 minutes of the PP. We had the game in hand.

He's as cool as a cucumber with the rubber out there.
