Up first:  Pittsburgh Penguins, my secondary team to cheer for.

 

I guess their worst start since Sid's rookie year could be because of their lousy defense.  Or bad coaching.  Or Kessel.

 

But in reality its because I took Fleury in my pool every year for 10 years until last year when I was fed up, he has his best year ever and then I took him this year and now he sucks. 

 

But really, whats the deal?  They might be the first to can their coach.

I'd think Sanheim or Provorov would be involved instead of gost 

But I think Florida might make a play for buff and or Ladd

Philly is eating half the salary.

3.6m and they are taking 1.8m or 50% of whatever is left.

Ladd would probably interest the Habs.

I can for sure see Tallon going for Buff if he is available. They have some good prospects in Florida.

Ducks must be looking to trade Anderson. Otherwise I don't understand why they'd want another goalie.

Ahl moves here I guess. But Gibson did get hurt yesterday so doubt they are shopping Anderson just yet. Gibson probably out a while. Khudobin called up. Toksrski to the Ahl to replace him.

79 assists for 108 points and a remarkable 213 points in the final 95 games in the QMJHL.

I like Drouin. Tampa is in an odd position.  They will try to ramp up Drouin's value but when they tell teams how great he is, the reply will be "then why isnt he playing on your team right now?"  Tampa has lowered Drouin's value and now the trade request is public, they wont get the offers they want.  A bidding war could help them but Tampa is going to lose Stamkos too.  They need to accept these two are going and get what they can in return.

Ehlers fined for diving. 2000 fine. Has to be a joke 

Ehlers does take dives...he should stay on his feet more.

 

Part of the reason Drouin was sent down is because he could be without clearing waivers....lots of other players might have been claimed on waivers and Drouin doesn't need waivers to be sent down.

Etem to Van for Jensen and a 6th rounder.

Yzerman apparently wants a young player similar to Drouin. The name Robby Fabbri from St Louis has popped up. Wonder if Petan would get it done. Tampa only has 2 million in cap space right now
