Week 1 Pick 'Ems

With Week 1 of the CFL season kicking off, we are launching the MBB Pick 'Em contest again!

 

Rules are simple: Pick the winners of each game each week (no spread) and whoever has the most correct picks at the end of the year gets a $50 Blue Bombers Store Gift Certificate (substitutions can be made if you are from out of town / province or fan of a different team)

 

All picks for the week must be in before the FIRST game of the week starts. After that time picks for all games that week are closed.

 

To enter your picks, click on the Pick'Ems link in the header of the website. Also, a reminder post will be sent out each week a day or two before the weekend games kickoff with a link to that weeks games.

 

Week 1 kicks off with Ottawa @ Montreal 6:30 PM on Friday June 26

    That was about as close as you can get to a 2nd upset in the Pick 'Ems this week.

    Wow what a crazy weekend it was for pickems.

     

    The one game I thought I'd get right Montreal vs Ottawa, I got wrong.  And the one game I thought I was foolishly gambling on, Edmonton at Toronto, I actually got right.

     

    Crazy stuff for sure.

    The first couple of weeks are best guess time, and I didn't guess very well. resulting in 0-4.  Picked the favorites in 3 out of 4 games and they all lost.  Went for an upset in the Hamilton/Calgary game and lost it by a 50 yard FG on the last play of the game.

    The only game I picked right was Calgary...and even that was close.

    I got the only game that mattered right I'll take my 1-3

    I think I went 0 for 4.  Yikes.  Better stick to hockey.
