When I first read the above link I thought wow how good is this guy Fantilli to almost sign a billion dollar contract?

Yeah, that’s a hell of a typo.

Islanders sign defenceman Logan Stanley to one-year, $1.5...

I was so scared this guy was coming back....whew....

I don't understand what Chevy is doing, why not take a flyer on Remi Poirier? Big young goalie in the Stars organization that the Devils picked up on waivers, our backups right now look downright scary...actually our goaltending period looks scary bad.

Exactly the mindset Helle and his agent are hoping so Chevy blinks first and settles to a below average deal. Regardless of how we start this season do not feel pressure to deal away for less. You would think there will be teams slow out of the gate or injury that will be seeking help between the pipes.

Meanwhile in Buffalo…

awww are things that bad? they're so desperate even after we traded players to that city they are literally begging us for Helle.

Even when the Jets go thru a down period this year, that should not influence wavering from the 'not going to settle' approach in trading Helle.

Knowing it's less than a minimal chance of happening but sweet jesus having our Jets win the cup this year cuz Helle didn't think we could would be chefs kiss.
