Elks @ Argos-Als @ Riders

Not sure if anyone is watching this Elks and Argos game. Argos have turned the ball over 4 times and have given the Elks all 27 points on turnovers. Yet the Argos just pulled ahead. What a wild game lol. And Arbuckle has now passed Collaros in INTs lol

So Dinwiddie pulls his starter...who was obviously not able to get it done after trying one series due to injury 

Puts in his backup who hasn't  played a lick all yr...engineers the win

Classic example of coaching and scheming for a backup QB, so that he's ready to play when needed.

Fajardo has improved...but he still does what we've come to expect...

Game should of been over when Dinwiddie put in a limping Arbuckle who promptly threw and int. but Faj decided they didn't want the win

As the Argos won with a walkoff kick, Dinwiddie storms over to the Elks bench screaming at their coaches and players, and miming a kicking motion... Just being an absolute lunatic.

Hang him for being emotional and passionate....something we seem to lack around here

And who's to say the Elk bench didnt say/do something first....when benches are on same side of the field....crap goes on all game long...so maybe he was saying take that mofo's

I don’t think the Als/Riders game has any impact on the Bombers. So let’s just hope for a Rider loss just to humble them a bit?

I’m having conflicting feelings. Act like you’ve been there before versus sprinkling in a little more pizazz into our fine game. A little trash talking makes things more enjoyable and interesting, especially between coaches.

How so? Optimistically I see 3 more wins this season and ending up 9-9. Which should be good enough for 3rd. We have the series on BC and if we beat the elks we would have the series on them as well.

Yeah. 3rd is likely. Beat the elks and it’s pretty much guaranteed we in. We could even cross over. Right now looks like bc does so bombers got a ways to go before they are out of the playoff scenarios. 
 

also Edmonton was handed like 28 points today and lost.

I’m not sure we can win any more games this year the way it’s looked lately.

Maybe Ottawa, maybe Montreal here. I don’t see them beating Saskatchewan, Edmonton or  Hamilton regardless of where the game is.

Yeah. The Elks just showed they can lose, even when the game is literally handed to them.

Yup. Elks still learning how to win. They ain’t there yet. They were handed basically 28 points and lost. If Zach is back soon (this week even) I like our chances more. If we relying on Strev or Wilson to win games, yeah not as optimistic 

 

turns out zachs injury is neck and not concussion either so bet he’s back soon. Unless of course Zach has some thoughts of retiring but didn’t look like it. He was throwing the ball pre game yesterday yawning on the sidelines.
