pretty positive that that injury from a couple of seasons ago may have screwed his chances

No. Being a small offensive minded D man who doesn’t go in to corners to retrieve dump ins did. People love to overrate the Finn’s here cuz of teemu and teppo. Ville was overrated. Laine was overrated. Armia made one deke every 30 games and was overrated. Ppl wanted to pick up the bust pool party cuz Finn. People on HFBoards were comparing heinola to miro heiskanen. Heiskanen a legit top D in the league. Sami fricking Niku. Ville just another overrated Finn who busted in Winnipeg. The search for the next Teemu and Teppo continue.

Best of a bad lot.

In other news…

Sabres fan post.
Things just got worse. I had 2 Sabres tickets sitting on my dashboard.
Someone broke my car window and left 2 more.

Of course it's with the Knights.

I know I'm some rando guy on the world wide web so this is only important to me and my family but my daughter had a run-in with this individual in his draft year and let's just say she wasn't impressed, well it was the complete opposite of impressed.

Here's to the Knights and said player failing miserably.

I've heard similar stories about Jonathan Toews. I like to give players the benefit of the doubt when I hear about bad fan interactions. Sometimes guys, young guys especially, don't realize how important it is to hide their bad days when dealing with fans.

My daughter’s experience was not a fan interaction. It was a human to human interaction not about sport.

I'd like to believe that for every Evander Kane,  the NHL has 20 great guys who are great ambassadors for the league/sport.    I've only had minimal interactions with some of the players on the current Jets roster and they have all been A+++.   Great guys.

Was either VGK, EDM or NYR as per usual no doubt.

oh good gawd 1st period intermission with more fawning over the Habs and their coach MSL. I actually like him but this is cringe.

Bla bla bla Montreal. Schielefe now Jets point leader. On to talking about the Leafs game.

Second intermission I turned to something else.

From Sportnet:

"Last game, we were like a 50-50 team, is the best way I can put it. There was 50 per cent of our guys that I thought really worked really hard and were committed and then I don't think we had enough from the other 50. And he would fall into that category," Huska said about the decision to scratch Sharangovich, per Wes Gilbertson of Postmedia. "You can't make a 50 per cent change, but certain areas that weren't acceptable, we can change a few. So it happened to be him."

Ryan Huska, who comes across to me as calm personable articulate kind man, sort of the opposite of a guy like John Tortorella, sends a message to a player. It was how he said it that impressed me.

I think our man MOS, who is an outstanding football coach, could learn from other professional coaches like Huska where sometimes it's not what you're saying, it's how you say it that is tres important. And I'm sure Huska has also had an in locker-room direct convo with his player (s) balancing in-house matters that stay in-house with using other venues to send needed messages to his players.

Oh and I hope we pound the Flames tonight. 🙂

Calgary flames are young and in a rebuild still. Bombers are more veteran. Perhaps with a more veteran team you need to be more I’m not sure the word here cuz I ordered a thesaurus and the pages were all blank so I’m at a loss for words here but it’s something. Kids vs vets.
