TBF, he didn't really fumble the pass, it was in his skates and he had a guy right on top of him - he wasn't going to be able to do anything with the puck.  It was a bad pass from Zibanejad, who has taken responsibility for it, that put him in a no win situation,   The hook I didn't mind as it prevented a quality scoring chance in OT.  He either gives that up and potentially lets the game end or he hopes the PK unit can keep them in it.

That being said, if you thought it was deja-vu, I'm sure Maurice did as well and was chuckling about how he was glad he was on the other end of it this time! 😂

it just shows how small the margin for error is in the playoffs.  That PP goal by Florida to win it was a thing of beauty, I watched it like 10 times trying to figure out how the Florida guy got so open to shoot like that.

Now that I watch that Florida OT goal again, (not sure why I didn't notice this yesterday) I see that the reason the guy is wide open in the slot is that for some unknown reason, Trouba goes on a field trip, totally leaving his position and getting tied up with Tkachuk for some reason, leaving his defence partner hanging out to dry. 

So it took two ex-Jets goofing up for Florida to win last night.

Canadian players is more important to me than Canadian teams, but I get it... PaMo vs McJesus would be a hell of a final that I never expected... So here's hoping.

Fine, got me on a technicality but the Oilers and Leafs and everyone else suck except us even when we do. 

It’s the furthest north city vs the furthest south one. The tax free sunshine and beaches vs colder than Winnipeg. 

Lebrun tweets there’s pressure on refs in the SC finals cuz of Oilers great power play.

What a sad state of affairs this great game continues to become.

I believe Florida wants to win at home. The visual of the players with the cup then going directly to the beach with it is one the nhl wants.

Super lame if true - probably mostly media hype.

Gotta admit that even though I loathe the Oilers it was very enjoyable to watch the Panthers GM do his toddler impersonation after their loss last night.
