That 4-on-3 OT was pretty painful to watch. 

Shootouts are stupid.

Jets were real good 5 on 5. Oilers not so much. Oh well skills competition is what it is but 3 of 4 points on back 2 back is good. 

Again if Louie Debrusk wants to be the best in the business he has to stop insinuating the Jets (and every other opponent versus the Oilers) are committing penalties on practically every play.

It's nauseating. Even McDavid has said he needs to shut up about penalties. 

3 out of 4 points. I'll take it.

All those Sportsnet commentators suck. Can't stand Singing Singh.

Singh doesn't do that "singing" thing any more...I think they must have talked to him during the off season because I haven't heard it once this year. He's pretty normal, for the most part...just really really raw. 

Jack Michaels is the pbp voice for the Oilers home broadcast with Deknuckles, he is quite possibly the worst pbp guy in the country, pee wee level

Getting back to the actual game last night and yes I am not a professional goalie coach, yes Helle is an elite goaltender for a reason, yes the shootout is not real hockey but I feel he needed to come out more and challenge the shooter. Yes that sets him up for the deke but does limit where the shooter can shoot.

Michaels does the guttoral yell, as the Jets radio guy does and I can't stand it. As far as actual PBP of the game, they're both great game callers......but the guttoral yelling...... just please stop.

hmmmm interesting...I watched the TSN3 feed for both those games....

He did it after Sheif netted the OT winner against LA.
