Week 4 Ottawa @ Montreal

For Ottawa:  Kyries Hebert is suspended and will be replaced by rookie Avery Williams. Trevor Harris will be looking to rebound after a rough outing against Calgary that saw the Redblack O go cold for extended stretches during the game.

For Montreal: Jeff Mathews will start. Drew Willy is not on the 46. Tyrell Sutton, last year's league rushing leader, was humbled last week by the Roughriders' league-best run D, so maybe there's an bounceback opportunity there for him, facing a raw rook at MLB instead of Sam Hurl.

Matthews starting, but as things start getting out of hand I fully expect him to get yanked.

Hebert suspended for this game.

so Ottawa  has a player starting the first time.

Ottawa broadcast guys were  questioning  why they stopped handing off to Powell, last game.

We are not the only team wondering about coaching.

Hope it's better than last night's game.

Montreal had 41 penalties in the first three games.

need Mr D.

Thus far it appears the Als are about to get Strevelered again.

man what a dirty roll up play by 99

NIce answer drive.

I hope Montreal can win this game.

Mathews looked good on that drive.

Drew Willy is permanently done.  And whoever the clown was who said he was better than Matthews just got smoked.  As I've repeated before, I'm no Matthews fan, but that drive right there proves how stupid the Als were for wasting time on Willy.

Yeah it did kind of show that Drew is probably done.

Montreal O line is doing well so far.

Watching a game of checkers at a nursing home would be more exciting than last night's game.

D Davis sighting.

so far Montreal D line has a bit of an edge

Harris is getting pounded pretty convincingly

don't remember too many sacks by the Bombers so far this season

(7)

Westerman sighting as well.  See if the MTL offense can do something now.

did not catch that int hit the ground

31 montreal with another hit on punt

harris still looks a bit off

except for the td pass

bomber like defence there

Matthews has gone cold after that opening drive.  Sherman will either have to try Sutton screen passes or start calling deep balls.

game is slowly getting away from Montreal

tackler should't leave their feet... as westerman did on the short yardage

bend and break D now.

nice running play with two seconds left...

I think the ringers Matthews took on his hands/wrist are adding up.  Kinda hard to tell personally if some of this conservative play is just him deciding to check it down or throw it away in various situations, or if it's Sherman/Khari calling dumb plays.  Really feel it's the latter and for those who think Lapo is bad about that, they need to look at this garbage.

Montreal looks to be the basement team in the East, Ottawa and Hamilton the two top Eastern teams and Toronto, who knows. Sherman looks clueless on the Als sideline but what is to be expected from a guy who can't get his headset off?

322 yards O for Ottawa

Chris Williams is out, and  Jackson doesn't seem to be doing much

I say pull him out and stick in Adams.  MTL needs a spark and he's stinking now.

Time to give Davis some reps.

This season seems to be lacking barnburners.

Popgun O for Montreal....

I gotta say that's gutless of Sherman not to go for it on 3rd down there.
