How about players who perhaps weren’t necessarily about stats but were about winning championships? There are those that argue that the measure of success is measured in championships.

Yup. Foreplay is fun, but sooner or later... Look at Dwayne Casey and the Raptors.

So when does Jamie Stoddard get in?

I wanted to bring up Stoddard, but they didn't have his stats..... Allan Boyko on the other hand, does.  Stellar in 1996!!

The reason they didn't have room for Simon was because Arland Bruce stepped up, hardly the big faux pas it was made to seem. They were never going to drop Gordon for Simon. No way no how. Ultra reliable vet who was Khari Jones security blankey or promising young player when you already have one of those already...

They had the money for simon or gordon and went with gordon. Simon seemed like a flight risk to the nfl. Gordon played under milt really well the previous year. But it ended up gordon was a flight risk to the AFL.

Cant say arland bruce solo blocked simon, when we had simon and aj3, and milt and gordon previously.

you can over come it, just like dan marino. But its harder. You cant say robert horry is better then lebron because of rings. But it does count for some thing that he has soo many.
