Argos @ Alouettes

Anybody watching this? Donny O chasing down the hapless Jeff Matthews for a sack. Bear Woods returns and Sutton is testing him early. Pretty sure Montreal will take this one.

Boring game. The East is terrible.

Matthews trying to end Coombs career.

Coombs will be sore tomorrow.

Yep two balls that shouldn't have been thrown so late, if at all.

Mathews playing like a deer in the headlights rookie. Just terrible. Looking tentative & confused. I expected a lot more out of him. He's terrible.

Mathews has played like hot garbage. Fajardo's turn. Poor Bluto

No wonder attendance is down in Montreal.  Absolutely no flowor excitement in this game.  Boring.  Toronto looks awful.

How come these crappy qbs keep finding jobs in a 9 team league? This is Mathews third year already & he looks like a 22 year old rookie.

Lots of bad throws.....

Neither Toronto or Montreal are going anywhere this season.  Just bad mediocre at best football.

I could name over a dozen bad Bomber QB's we've had here in the past decade. It really is a QB driven lead. Decent offense with Ray under center. Absolutely nothing with the Argos backups.

Describing this game  as being mediocre is being kind. All Fajardo does is run. Mathews can't throw. Durant a couple of big throws for TD's but his best days are far behind him. Otherwise this game is a dud. We all knew it would be with these 2 teams playing minus Ray. B-O-R-I-N-G.

Watching this game is like watching the Bombers, in their recent past, playing the Bombers from their recent past..

More like watching the Bombers in 2015 with Brian Brohm starting while playing the Als.

This is what's scary about the CFL. The backup qb position. For some teams they are living with their starter. If they go down they might as well concede the season. The drop off in production in Toronto after Ricky Ray is like stepping off a cliff at the Grand Canyon..

Would love to see us get Coombs from Toronto. He could be our Andrew Harris of the future.

Fajardo just refuses to throw.  Just run. Thinks he can do it all himself & he's going to get killed.

I just can't watch this game anymore. Switched to the 49ers-Chiefs game.

Brutal football, all round

I didn't think it was that bad of a game actually,  not great football, but entertaining for what it is.

Argos should've started Fajardo to begin with. He may not be able to throw, but he can at least run. That's more than I can say about Jeff Matthews.
