Trying not to turn this into a curling thread... but I thought it was strange that someone from the gine would come to Manitoba to curl... considering the depth here is significantly better than in Sask... but the rest of the team is Manitoban... and I'll always cheer for the Bison at the Scotties/Brier...

I realize it's likely a one time thing, but will be cool to watch Jeff curl again. I thought he retired way too early myself,  and who knows,  maybe some success at this might rekindle some competitive spirit in him down the road

Jeff and Ned  can still chuck 'em, no question.......Korab, I don't even know if the guy throws stones anymore. Thiess guaranteed won't skip a beat from where he was a couple years ago. This *should* be a decent team, but I wonder about the sweeping...other than Thiess, I don't think these guys are in the shape required to sweep a real game. Only 8 ends, yeah, but still...will be interesting to see how Ned and Korab handle it...

I'd say they'll be capable of beating anyone but they're likely to be up and down like a yo-yo just because I doubt any of them are throwing enough rocks to be consistent anymore. Love the idea of it though. 

I love the idea of 3 Manitobans anyhow.... Korab can get ****** but whatever...

Yeah, I believe she was actually a model before curling......wouldn't kick 'er outta bed for eatin' crackers...

all that being said I can't get over the stupid ******* scarf she always used to wear.

No surprises. Sidorova gets hugely over rated as a player. Homan should be curb stomping all these teams anyway
