  1. MOS has to wear those mistakes you discuss. 100%. PR usage, designated Americans, The F'ing FB usage, letting players dictate too much. The things I give him the benefit of the doubt on are some roster decisions around new players coming in. A lot is discussed about MOS's loyalty to guys, but we also have examples of rookies coming in and playing right away. When we have players that look good in limited action and they can't seem to stay on the field, everyone gets all on MOS for staying loyal to whatever vet is in the guts way, but no one asks what the player is or is not doing to get on the field. There is so much we don't see. When are they getting to practice, are the putting in the work off the field, in the meeting rooms, are they where they are supposed to be on the field on the plays we don't see? We know the formula for becoming one of the favourites. Steal snaps, be a hard worker, get in early, stay late, be a good teammate, know your role, etc, etc, etc. The one thing we can all agree on is the culture reset that has happened under the current regime. MOS is loyal to the guys who are good examples and set that culture. When a guy can't get on the field, we have to put some of the onus on the player too. Not just blame MOS for keeping a guy down.
  2. Well, this is just a terrible post. He's infallible now? No critical analysis allowed?
  3. As long as our key guys who have been absent in camp get healthy, no worries from me. Some exciting rookies and sophomores to root for.
  4. Is this real?
  5. Let’s see Wilson first
  6. It took a second to line up the audio with cjob guys. Stop the madness,
  7. I’ve been saying it in regards to Haba, but it applies to Garbutt too. DE’s in their second year. That’s when they take off (if they got the stuff).
  8. Doug Brown on the Garbutt train now.
  9. Nailed it
  10. Can’t figure out how to line it up
  11. Gotta let him practice the way he plays or there’s no point.
  12. For now. We’ll see how long they play guys.
  13. Their starters are going to beat the roster we brought.
  14. I would douchenozzle the hell out of your podcast.
  15. Dude, there are literally people who are paid to do this. And we are literally on a forum where we express our thoughts and feelings about the things those people say (or don't say). That said, they are reporting on the names that most people know. But training camp battles seem like low-hanging fruit. But I guess they don't want to sound like idiots when they hype up a guy that gets cut the next day.
  16. Honestly though. If people actually remember "back in the day" when the reporters were all at practice and writing stories every day, none of us were satisified. We would sit here every day and complain that they weren't watching practice, they would still just type up whatever coaches were spewing during the interview portion. Don't try and re-write history now people. You were all just bragging about how long ya'll been on the forums, can't pretend things you were ever happy with media coverage.
  17. Paywall, but Ken Weibe has been putting out some good stuff in the freep. But I certainly miss when The Athletic briefly covered the CFL.
  18. He hasn’t played in the CFL in 5 years now. I’m sure he’d like to get a few live reps before the season starts.
  19. He’s only 33. He just started young so it seems like he’s been around forever
  20. So far it’s been an indicator of who’s getting released next 😂
  21. injuries are mounting already.
  22. I feel like we've seen it over and over when Bighill's not on the field. No reason for me to expect otherwise.
  23. I don’t typically expect anything from rookie draft picks.
  24. DE is always a position I expect to make more of an impact in year 2.
  25. Very true, but I always understand the viewpoint of new people coming in and being turned off by it. I was a lurker on ourbombers but never posted because the people already had these built in dynamics and it was really hard to break into the conversation.
