It may just be because he was just traded but Nichols seems pretty happy to be here, Like very happy, saying it's the happiest he's been since college really... I think there is a very real possibility that if we treat him good and make him feel like he's wanted, that he stays here. Willy,Nichols, 3rd stringer... That's pretty good QB depth for sure. Really, release Marve,Brohm and a couple others and you basically can give Nichols his 200 k plus... Release a few others and you can give Henoc his 250,000 plus also. I don't see it as an either or situation, i see it as I want both and I think theres ways to make it happen. I just don't see how we could be anywhere close to the cap, i just don't see it. The talent just isn't there yet.. we don't have many elite canadians outside of westerman really and Kohlert... Hurl might be getting paid good money but we didn't break the bank to sign him. Why not both.

One good half doesn't prove anything. I dunno how in demand Nichols would be honestly. He's been around a while and we got him for a 7th or 6th rounder. He's a good backup but I'm not sure a team would make him their starter. 200 K plus bonus money for starts is what I'd offer him. Muamba Nichols Wild. .. why not all 3 really. 6 2 as a starter this year. I don't think he's better than willy but a Willy Nichols 1 2 is pretty Damn good. I'd take Henoc tho but honestly why not both. Cut brohm and Marve and there's Nichols salary really.

Nichols was shakey starting out. 4 practices will do that but look very good in the 2nd. Not sure how that is over looked exactly. Had almost 300 yards passing. Dude lit up the 2nd half. With only 4 practices

Or maybe just maybe Nichols actually saw some guys who were deep. I dunno. Wasn't at the last 2 games but... I doubt MB called 5 yard passes all game. That's on Marve and Brohm more I think. MB sucks but I'm guessing brohm and Marve just don't have the ability to go deep. Can't read the d as quick as Nichols.

Nichols had just about more passing yards this game than brohm and Marve combined the last 2 games. He might have had more too. 400 total yards for the O. After the slow first half... Nichols lit it up really. Not sure I get the posts giving Nichols a tough time or Longo for that matter. Takes time to get adjusted and once they did... Much better

The D owned the riders and the O was very good in the 2nd half. 367 to 167 total yards for bombers. Probably 50 of that 167 was in garbage time

Thought it was a good game. I love watching our D out there. Leggett at SAM was amazing. Westerman is a beast. Cole has been impressive. Hurl was strong. Saw some 34 D too. O was ok. Still think bellefool is an issue tho.
