I don’t see how you talk about Game Day in the Game Day Thread without mentioning who isn’t and isn’t playing. I mean I understand it’s repetitive and honestly extremely repetitive but it is what it is. I don’t think you can avoid speaking of the roster on game day. I mean honestly if I’m being legit, this is probably the best roster since last year sometime. Ppl here push for guys they like, same thing they accuse O’Shea of, which is believing in some guys 2 much, they do the same in these unknowns. Generally the unknowns end up not really working out. But it is what it is. I don’t think you can avoid it tho. I mean I’m not trying to mention any players names here cuz good god that’s roster talk. Zach Collaros. I couldn’t do it. all this roster talk don’t matter if Zach collaros decides to not modify his game. Dude needs to realize we can’t go 80 yards in 2 throws anymore. Dude needs to take the short stuff, don’t throw into triple coverage. Until that changes, it don’t matter who is or isn’t playing.

But if they ain’t competing for the same spot then it’s all irrelevant. Apparently Mitchell would take Wheatfalls spot. He’s not taking Schoen spot tho. That’s on the coaching. Or mitchell just isn’t as good as people think he is. That is a real possibility also.

It’s possible the elks were so much of a dumpster fire that it rubbed off on their players. Mitchell was an elk his entire career. Few days ago I mentioned maybe removing the elks stink is taking some time. Appears it is.

Ford can’t read a D. To be an elite QB you need to do that. He’s 1 read and scramble. Could he learn that ? Sure but prob needs to sit behind a vet willing to help him for a couple years. Not sure Cody is that guy. Now I’m not saying I’d do this but… maybe reuniting tre with Jarious who seemed to bring out the best version of him would be a start. More of an off season thing tho. I mean at this point I think you cut him unless I dunno but the elks stink seems to be difficult to remove. Gotta wonder how much coaching he actually got in Edmonton and the dumpster fire. As for Bryant, I feel it should be easy to replace American O tackles and defensive ends for that matter.

I think after seeing how many snaps a guy like Thomas is getting you could make the argument he’s hurting the team. No sacks. No tackles. No stats. No nothing. Those 3 DL sets with Jake Korn and prob Willie most times gets eaten alive. It’s sad watching honestly. Some of these guys need to be told it’s time to go. Thanks for the services and best of luck in future endeavours. It’s not just based on 1 loss, it’s based on trends from the last couple of seasons now. No way should Thomas be getting as many reps as he does. No way. I can’t see how they look at the film and go yup all good there. And if they do go yup he’s doing what he’s supposed to getting owned every play then Walters and wade need to step in unless all 3 have become complacent. That is possible. Rolling in the dough could do that.
