Didn't he do something similar in a pre-season game? Dummy hasn't quite got the rules down yet.

With Dickenson and Huff handling the design of the offence in Cgy. Claybrooks probably didn't pay any attention to that side of the ball, he moves to BC and blindly entrusts J. Jackson to be capable of doing the same. Maybe now he knows better. I don't recall if he had any freedom to bring in his own coordinators.

CGY @ Ham - Time For The Stamps To Get Reality Checked And Have Lunch Money Stolen
Difficult question, do you trust to bet against the Lions twice against the Riders?
-
EDM @ BC
You have to give Claybrooks at least as much credit as O'Shea, he did play in the league for 5 years and coached for 6, compared to O'Shea's 3 years of experience as a ST coordinator.

Canadian Politics
Two interesting articles from Macleans Magazine, combining oil and politics. Actually, foreign funding flows to both sides of Alberta’s oil sands battle. Fear-mongering about U.S.-backed environmental groups is a symptom of strain on the oil industry. Next will come demands for government support. https://www.macleans.ca/news/canada/actually-foreign-funding-flows-to-both-sides-of-albertas-oil-sands-battle/ What is Jason Kenney’s ‘energy war room’ good for? The crack unit tasked with pushing back ‘lies’ about the oil sands is so far trading in shop-worn spin and conspiracy theories https://www.macleans.ca/news/canada/what-is-jason-kenneys-energy-war-room-good-for/

Locker from CanadInns Stadium
I don't remember much, but can't forget the aroma and the serious splash back ambling up to that baby, as a 7 year old it was a frightening adventure.

So what??? You have a blizzard probably best to stay home and keep out of the way for a day or two until it melts, cluckle-heads who refuse to alter their schedule based on obvious deterrents are the ones who die during natural disasters. "Not now Reaper Man, I have a reservation!!!"

If he wants to play, there is an opportunity awaiting him.

Just imagine how talk around the water-cooler describes that game, 6-8 bystanders hear the conversation and formulate or confirm opinions, not good.

The obvious first step is to bring in 3 or 4 seasoned Imports to shore up their O-line, that's where the Bombers started rebuilding from 3 short years ago. Right now the only Import they have is Figueroa who was replaced by Foucault when he went down early last night, leaving them with 5 Natl's across the board. There are always a few good Import linemen kicking around who have been recently cut due to the ratio game that could help them out, including Travis Bond currently sitting on the Esks. PR. They can make do by playing whatever little Natl. talent they have at less critical positions.

No kidding, you know the only people watching this game to the end are rapidly dwindling CFL fanatics. What are they going to do when TSN comes back at them with a substantially lower "take it or leave it" offer for the broadcast rights? Time to turn up the lights and realize rampant free agency has been a disaster for the on field product and competent team building.
