It's going to be weird seeing Morrisey score on Helle. 🙂 The American roster looks solid but we have McDavid and McKinnon so just make sure their TOI hovers around 30-40 minutes. 🙂

Mr. Rourke better step up in 2025 or it may be a very long season for Buck in his first year as head guy. I know it's important for the health of this league but I have a hard time cheering for NR. I guess as long as we punch him in his face every time we play him but he does well against other teams, I'll give him that to help out our league.

We were winning games while Stanley cut his teeth by making mistakes. We are now losing games while Stanley cut his teeth and makes mistakes. Leash might be shorter now.

Which goes back to my original curiosity. When I read that a player (s) remarks after a loss the team wasn’t ‘ready’ to play, what does that exactly mean? And I’m not talking about missing players due to injury or travel or back to back games which are all influencing factors obviously but doesn’t paint the whole picture imho. And don’t worry some of you lurkers out there, I don’t demand to know the answers, yes this is an in-house discussion with the team that stays in the locker room but I’m a curious guy.

Cutting JT is not for a financial reason, it’s for a well past his prime reason.

If you really broke this reasoning down, I'd be curious to know what are the specifics behind them not being ready? Travel was alluded to but what else?

I don't know JT personally but what I do know is anyone who works for the Winnipeg Jets is probably not on cocaine if they do some heads down concentrated assessments of what kind of dynamics (out side of pure physical hockey skills) JT would bring to the table that that could possibly facilitate or hinder the success of the current status of our hockey club.

I like the first part of your sentence, not so much the second part. 🙂 I'm still mesmerized by Wilson's arm. I'm hoping there's potential to develop this and other aspects of his game. Don't forget the all telegraphed decoy use. (shudder).

I don't think he screwed us over with anything. He decided that him, his family and his interests outside hockey were now priority number 1 for him, he followed thru on it and by all accounts is living his life for who are important to him. I respect that.
