What I find amusing is when people use the argument that 'the other candidate, the other person is as bad or worse when it comes to the above said behaviours'. Okay, that makes everything fine, yeesh. Regardless of what side one supports, I'm embarrassed for us humans when this 'argument' is used to explain things away.

Again just my opinion based on his behavior to date, because of his bravado and brazen approach to the game.

This couldn't be happening to a nicer guy. This looks good on Jones. Yes petty, but still feels right. He comes across as someone who thinks he's bigger than the game.

Maybe someone knows this stat. What is Pavelec's career stats under Noel versus Maurice? In the media he has heaped praise on Maurice and has thrown Noel under the bus suggesting he wasn't getting the best out of his players. I don't seem to have as much disdain on him as you do but my issue with Pavelec, and it's just my opinion, is he thinks he's better than he is and it's not just him being confident. Doesn't come across to me as a great team player, but that's just purely an educated guess based on game play observations and media soundbites and not being in the dressing room and part of the internal discussions. Not to mention the fact most Goalies are a bit off anyway, Carey Price being the exception.

Matt Dunnigan put it well last night about having that Killer instinct. I was thinking about sportmanship and easing off when we were up 34-0 but as soon as Matthews threw the ball in the end zone and Fantuz kicked the ball in the stands, I knew right there, no feeling sorry for the opponents, play like it's 0-0.

And what was nice always broke the first or second attempted tackle.

My brother is going to the Olympics, he's one of the coaches for the Canadian Men's Volleyball team. That's what I'll be watching with intensity. I smell a miracle on ice type story :-). Go Canada!

He did tweet out asking O'Shea to put him into the line-up. We know the guy can still play and play at a high level. At least I hope he gives the team a pregame pep talk. Also, Harris needs to get over 20 touches tonight.

True, the 2 Q system in my mind still has a clear number 1 but use the 2nd guy more often to change things up. I believe it's not done enough in certain scenarios.

I wonder if Sask will try to pry Lulay away from the Lions. It seems like a waste having Lulay on the sidelines. Or maybe his body and mind are no longer able to compete as a starter, don't know.

I was at the game last night and Harris played lights out, thanking his OL many times. OL guys were pumped up, lots of energy. It was awesome. Kept their D off balance. If Dressler doesn't get injured who knows what he would have ended up with, he was on FIRE. Edm couldn't cover him. I think it would have a blow out with him all game. Hope it's not long term. Darvin Adams stepped up but does need to run forward when he catches the ball. Defense played good, interesting looks they gave Reilly and company last night. Watching Willy on the sidelines, didn't look like he was moping, looked engaged and was always chatting with Nichols. Hope this helps him. Waving the flag around the office today has made me even more popular today as a Bomber fan :-)

More Dressler and Smith than Harris no?

With how Edm's game ended last week, we need to have a big 1st Quarter, keep that downward spiral of theirs going, this will NOT be a bounce back game for them, come at them hard quiet the crowd. I'm going to the game give me something to cheer about. Hope is all I have. GO Blue!

If Nichols can't produce, would not that mean it is indeed something other than the QB or is it we just have two really average QB's that need an exceptional supporting cast to succeed? I'm not ready to give up on Willy just yet. You'd think he has the talent to be a great QB in this league, it's just taking longer than we want. That's my hope. Not saying it would happen and can't make roster decisions by thinking this but the worst thing that could happen to us is we cut him loose than he thrives somewhere else. That would be hard to take.

Could still happen imo. Obviously, as we move into August, time will tell.

Logically you're probably on point but history tells us some other team will overpay him to land him.

Haven't given up on this season YET but if we pile on more L's in the next three weeks I'm pulling out my annual, "Our year is next year, Go Jets Go!'

Not to mention the fact, based on all facets of our game production to date, no existing staff should be in line for a promotion . . .
