  1. Yup free to choose anything but not free of it's consequences good, bad or indifferent.
  2. His tweet about how much he has sacrificed as a family man and how much he has sacrificed to the people of Edmonton to win a GC and how many people have supported him with his beliefs, gag. It all makes much more sense now with his ridiculous flex's. Look how much I sacrificed to get this three yard gain. Flex.
  3. Ask Karen and Todd on the internet, they'll tell you. They've done some research.
  4. If Cass says time and space again I’m going to scream.
  5. Totally disagree with commentator saying Helle been really really good tonight. He’s been average by his standards. Too deep in his crease imo.
  6. Not a goalie expert but why didn’t Helle come out and challenge? Too tight in his net.
  7. A professional would start with I need to be better.
  8. Right or wrong commonly used football term to describe walking into the end zone untouched as long back as I can remember.
  9. Indoctrinated wife? Hmmm tell me more. I’m working on a few other non related sport issues that need buy-in.
  10. Recipe for disaster: start with a very limited critical thinking skill set influenced heavily by a variety of social, economic and health determinants and add in full access to the World Wide Web. The result? Disaster.
  11. Nope no contradiction read the full post again. You forgot to mention the part about dependent on our won lost record and who the player is, i.e., in this case a 31 year old American (Ratio issue) CFL unproven rookie. Sometimes it feels you can be overly protective of WBB Players, Coaches and Management. I get it we love and adore our team thru thick and thin. There are definitely fairweather arm chair QG 'fans' who lurk here. Loyal fans here would agree. However they would also agree it's okay to disagree and/or question certain moves made by the WBB because these really is no clear right answer. Frequently ending a debate by saying they're the professional coaches so you're wrong sometimes doesn't address the question being posed. This recent kicking issue of ours is a great example of that.
  12. Also this argument about running players out of town. Not from a professional coaches perspective but from posters here, when is it running them out of town or cutting them because they’re bad and we don’t have the luxury of developing them to be less bad to getting better? Right, it’s subjective so based on his body of work to date I wouldn’t say this falls into running him out of town. By CFL standards if you are going to bring in a 31 year old American kicker unfortunately the rope has to be short due to ratio. The only reason he is still around is we are 8 and 1, we have been pounding teams of late and he hasn’t cost us a game yet. He would be a distant memory if any of these things were different. If he lights it up next week great but it won’t be a I told you so. It will be because he’s playing on the best team by far in the league where you may have more luxury figuring out potential.
  13. Nice, capitalism at it’s finest. Oh demand is up, sorry not sorry you’re gonna have to pay for that. Oh demand is down? We need a bailout or people will lose their jobs!
  14. I get what you’re saying but he didn’t cut Legs either. Who really knows why Mourtada has been gifted more lives than a cat.
  15. Just to hit other teams right in the nads even more than we do when we play them, we should make a play to land Arbuckle. 🙂 With my respect given to Sean McGuire, a Collaros Arbuckle tandem would look pretty nice. Not going to happen but oh that would be sweet.
  16. McTavish first period interview not what the interviewee probably thought it would go after McTavish saying he found out he was playing tonight while going to the washroom. McTavish thought that was a funny story. Yup he’s 18. Lol.
  17. Did I hear right that Mason Mactavish played in a senior men’s league last year? Nice he gets his first NHL goal against us although upon further review the whistle did indeed go prior to him tapping it in. Not sure what they meant by the puck was in motion as the whistle went so good goal?
  18. For fecks sake. Overall dominating but down 2-0. Gibson’s positioning so far is lights out.
  19. Yup but not a bad distraction in between whistles.
  20. Based on his overall play and inconsistency I'm having a hard time figuring out where he fits at all.
  21. Rachel Notley says hi. My point being Jason Kenney being in power for the last two years not does define a large portion of Albertans.
