  1. The real question is "who would you have on your team in the playoffs?".
  2. Plays a lot like Damon Allen in his prime. But does he have the smarts to run only when necessary?
  3. But he might be a stoolie.
  4. Yes. The Big One is coming.
  5. I don't mind TSN pumping Harris' possible 1000/1000 season at all. We need to celebrate the extraordinary talent in the league instead of drooling over the often bizarre NFL "superstars".
  6. But its all fantastic, wonderful and incredible.
  7. Anyone who comes to the game ought to be able to move to seats right behind the benches.
  8. Its gonna take a heckuva transition for Jones as a linebacker to move from arena football to the humongous (by comparison) CFL field.
  9. Huh. He didn't even get the chair warm.
  10. hu·mor [ˈ(h)yo͞omər] NOUN the quality of being amusing or comic, especially as expressed in literature or speech:
  11. He'd best stay out of hallways, then.
  12. Maybe. I refuse to answer on the grounds that it might tend to incinerate me.
  13. Smart move by the Argos. Bass still has a lot of tread left on his tires.
  14. Hmmmm...shaping up to be an interesting game to watch.
  15. Soo......his play is turning you on?
  16. No individual stat is, and that is why I qualified my statement, but its a good rough indicator.
  17. Considering the dearth of talent Trestman inherited along with a brittle quarterback, he has done very well indeed.
  18. Harris has dedication, power and smarts. Roberts had incredible talent and the center of gravity of a personhole cover which made it very difficult to tackle him. Had Roberts done some even average self-care, he would have been in the George Reed legend category.
  19. Yet, its amazing that we have the third best O-line as judged by the number of sacks given up. I can't recall who the better ones are for sure, but I think it was Calgary and (WTF?) Edmonton.
  20. Just as opposition parties do not win elections so much as governments lose them, sometimes teams win it all because the opposition implodes at critical times. The only credible opposition to the Bombers so far this year is Calgary with the Riders showing occasional signs of life. I'm betting the real Grey Cup game will be the Western Final.
  21. Agreed. The Rider and Lions' defenses are decent, though.
  22. The key to the Bomber success this season and the last half of 2016 was the recruiting that Walters oversaw, and chief among the arrivals which turned the Bomber fortunes around was...Matt Nichols. Nichols has exceeded the expectations of everyone, and before someone else points it out, the re-tooled O-line and Andrew Harris sure helped.
  23. O'Shea should take both Kyle Walters and Matt Nichols out for a very expensive dinner.
  24. Boy, that's a lot of work. Thanks.
  25. Mitchell has the benefit of (arguably) the best supporting cast in the league, whereas Nichols has made his own case for the MOP award. However, whichever QB takes his team to the Grey Cup will likely win it.
