  1. Bombers lucky to give up only 3 points.
  2. INo way should that have been completed- it floated long enough for an INT.
  3. Would love to see Whitehead get hit deep with a pass.
  4. Yup. the D-line is carnivorous.
  5. Where the heck is the chat room?
  6. Patience, my children, patience. All will be well. Or at least adequate.
  7. Well, I'll be FAQ'd.
  8. So....reminiscent of Regina, then?
  9. Herdman is not as bad as many think, but not an all-star, either. Moreover, the interior of the Bomber O-line will take time to gel, so that will affect the running plays, thus taking pressure off the Lion MLB. Dumps over the middle ought to work, and God knows, Nichols has been used to doing that.
  10. I am concerned that Reilly will break contain or threaten to and draw the Bomber linebackers up, then lob the ball over their heads to one of the inside receivers. I cannot see the Lions' running game doing much tonight.
  11. I wouldn't want to be Rob Vanstone this year if he is going to speak heresy like this.
  12. I give both the o-line and d-line edges to the Bombers. You can make a case that Reilly is better than Nichols and without Matthews in the lineup, maybe the Lions have a better receiving corps, but that works only if Reilly is vertical instead of horizontal. Bombers have a better running game and the secondaries are about the same- Lions seem to have better deep receivers but the Bombers ought to have a better short game. Special teams: edge to Bombers. Overall: 32-17 Bombers.
  13. It gets worse- he is apparently going to do the Bomber game tomorrow. Ick.
  14. Esks looking discombobulated. Its a good thing that Maas did all that bonding with his players- looking real sloppy out there. Montreal might just steal this one.
  15. Yup. Greg. I blame it on a brain cramp.
  16. 3downnation is reporting that James Ellingson has been caught driving with a snootful of firewater.
  17. Only because the Hamilton QB soiled the sheets. Repeatedly.
  18. oooh....my nipples are hard but I have three jerseys already.
  19. Much as I like Khari and hope for the best, I cannot see the Als winning this one. They can consider it a win if they keep it close.
  20. Not in our lifetimes.
  21. Disagree. Even someone with no history of concussions can suffer a traumatic brain injury from one impact. Some are simply more vulnerable than others and it also depends on the vector of the impact on the skull.
  22. If history is any indicator, few teams come out of the gate at full speed, and the Bombers do have a few rookies, Even if they have been around for a while, they need time to adjust to each other. So the game will probably be a bit sloppy, particularly in the first half. Bombers still gonna win, though.
  23. Soooo.....the Esks might be having a Senior moment soon?
  24. I am also troubled by the fact that it is well known that Collaros has had concussion problems and this was a clear shot to the head. I am all for playing hard but doing something like this to not only take Collaros out of the game but potentially ending his career and leaving Collaros with recurring trauma such as has been described. This is potentially a life-diminishing injury and the league ought to come down on Lawrence like an avalanche. Lawrence is a good enough athlete that he doesn't need to do this kind of crap, particularly when the Riders were such underdogs to start with.
