  1. Not looking forward to the Stamps coming to town.
  2. And O'Shea will continue to wet-nurse Nichols until its too late.
  3. God help us, Fajardo looks way better than Nichols
  4. And to add insult to injury, Riders are taking it to the Tabbies tonight
  5. As angry as I am at Nichols and as deserving as he is of all the flak, apart from Harris, there were no standouts tonight. Bombers are trending in the wrong direction.
  6. No- that will have to wait until the season is over with a playoff loss.
  7. I think we need to accept that this is not a Grey Cup team as presently constituted. We will make the playoffs and flame out once again,
  8. The defence was not good, but it was another pathetic effort by the whole team-all three parts, and it falls on O'Shea.
  9. Okay, you could see that coming. And its all on Nichols and O'Shea.
  10. This game has showed that when push comes to shove, Nichols is not the quarterback of the future. O'Shea will not see.
  11. Jefferson has saved the Bombers' collective butts
  12. Its also clear Argos are outplaying the Bombers
  13. Argos deserve this game moreso than the Bombers. A
  14. Kongbo looking real good so far and he's not even up to speed.
  15. If the Bombers do not have a comfortable (15 points or more) lead at half-time, that would be bad for them. The Argos could look at that and take heart that they just might win the game and come out firing on all cylinders.
  16. We know that the Argos are probably, almost certainly, the worst team in the league. The question that needs to be answered is whether the Bombers are the best team in the league. And we're gonna find out.
  17. Since 80% of business executives admit that they got to be where they were through luck and connections, why would trying to get on with a team be any different? Sometimes its like a lottery.
  18. This is gonna be a tough choice for the Bombers. Nichols has shown that he can win, albeit inconsistently. Streveler has shown that he has the tools but lacks the experience and under O'Shea and LaPolice, he may not get it in Winnipeg. We cannot expect Streveler to bide his time endlessly waiting for his opportunity, so the most likely scenario is that the Bombers will trade one or the other, and I am personally leaning towards keeping Streveler.
  19. I still maintain that a marginal win is not good enough for the Bombers and Nichols in particular. After that terrible outing against the TiCats, Nichols has to redeem himself in the eyes of fans and, more importantly, his teammates. The team has to believe that when the rest of the team is having an off game, their leader will step up and take control of the game.
