If a QB is a threat to run for good yardage 2-4 times per game, it causes so many problems for the defence, but it has to be done effectively and intelligently with the receivers blocking aggressively. If a defensive back has to worry about a Clercius coming downhill to lay him out, suddenly tackling a running back or quarterback becomes a lower priority.

The last Mitchell has shown very little so far. Unless there are undelying reasons why with a probablity of significant, rapid improvement, I would definitely bring Hollins in for a look-see. If nothing else, it would send a message.

Slow CFL news day. He was better than Sheahan and had the potential to get better. That, for me would be good enough to kick Sheahan out. And Sheahan would likely have wound up in Regina.
