  1. Bomber defence still being mauled with no answers
  2. Where in Hell is our pass rush? Adams has been hurried only once so far.
  3. Gotta put Adams on his butt a few times or he will pick the defence apart.
  4. Exactly. The pass to Streveler didn't work, but now the Lions' defence is going to have to watch for that.
  5. Gawd, did we ever need that. Not just the score but the unpredictable plays in the drive.
  6. Collaros starting to look like the Collaros of old,
  7. Rumour hath it that he has an arm, too.
  8. Lions have yet to break a sweat. Bombers have to score at least a FG or else we are in for a long, frustrating evening. And yes, Kolankowski is going to get O'Shea fired.
  9. Lions are eating the Bombers alive.
  10. crap! Ford is hurt
  11. The knock on Jefferson in Riderville was that he played as he chose when he chose.
  12. Yup. Two botched plays and out. The natives will be getting restless soon.
  13. Well that resembled a kick return..
  14. Now you've taken all the fun out it. YESSSS! Good start!
  15. 'Struth, thou art a knave.
  16. Streveler wasn't kept around in the NFL for his sartorial splendor or effervescent personality. He also has had the benefit of high-grade coaching there, so the potential is there. I would be OK if the Bombers had to go with him as a starter, but jeez, the rest of the team has to clean up their acts.
  17. Verily, methinks.
  18. After the recent bed-shitting, the crowd may well become surly if the Bombers start fumbling the game away. They deserve better.
  19. Now you've jinxed it.
  20. The way to make life easier for DBacks is obviously to pressure VA at every turn and not let him get set up to pass. The downside to that is that VA is a pretty good scrambler, and our linebackers are going to have to earn their keep. VA seems to be a bit off this year, making me wonder if those hits he has taken have had a cumulative effect. So....a wounded quarterback behind a rickety o-line. Feeding time for the Bomber d-line?
  21. At the risk of injecting a note of restraint into this thread, we need to take a deep breath and step back. I have expressed many of the same concerns but I am not yet convinced to bring out the tar and feathers at this point. Walters and Co. have built a good team and unless they have undergone prefrontal lobotomies, they ought to have the abilities to fix this. In the Freep today, Pat Neufeld owned that the o-line has not done their jobs but that it was the lack of coordination, unfamiliarity with each other and poor communication, but also that it was fixable. If that is true, (and he comes across as intelligent) that would likely fix at least 67% of the problems here. This two-game debacle may has been a blessing in disguise in that it exposed chronic problems and ought to galvanize remedies. Better now than in late October. Lets revisit this after the BC game.
  22. Agreed. This sort of generic answer has been a staple of the show since forever, save for a few breaks. Why would you spend time enduring an annoying experience when you could be trimming your toenails or checking for ingrown nasal hairs?
