All QBs would struggle with the scenario bolded above. Zach can’t do it all by himself at this stage in his career. He’s always been a QB that will attack and throw some picks. His accuracy was fine against Ottawa. He can still be a winner but needs some support from the rest of the O including some more mixing Strev in

He did. I don’t think they win without him. Dru had it easy with that running game

I wouldn't say I'm optimistic about a turnaround, BUT it is something that could happen.

Only silver lining on this start that I can see is that if there is a time of year to get your ass kicked and flaws exposed this is it. Cups are often won by the team that gets hot late in the year (see 2019, 2022, 2023)

Ideally would have Garbutt, Haba, WJ on rotation and causing havoc

I mean one can kill you.

This game isn’t on Zach. Oline getting him killed. Couple drops didn’t help either

No Lawler, Olivara, Nichols, Haba ,Fox is a lot to over come. The whole interior of the oline looks terrible.

ya it’s 1 hour it’s called.

Agree. Not clear why he is getting defensive reps at all.

Strevy

Alford is still a Rider. worthy would be a good add. Clear that Mitchell is not a returner.

Should have played Castillo in the preseason

Who had Johnny Augustine in the lock of the week?

Oline not doing their part too. Too many guys in ZC’s face. No big running lanes yet either

Ya man that’s my point. Would be foolish to take off an American LB and lose that ability. Especially if there’s an injury

No I think you’re wrong here. Cole is listed as a backup but hopefully will be rotating in like a starter and taking out a Canadian. With everyone healthy Wilson and cole can be in at the same time, either with Gauthier or Kramdhi. If one of the imports gets hurt, and Ayers were off the roster, then you’re stuck playing the Canadians with no American to rotate in.

You were talking about taking off the backup LB to get a DE on. Ayers wouldn’t on the roster.

Hope it doesn’t work like that. I subscribe to TSN digital just for the CFL season.

As mentioned elsewhere on here, Cody doesn’t have Mack to bail him out this year. Unless one of their new receivers is a stud he’ll be in trouble

LFG!!

If Cole or Wilson goes down then you’d have Gauthier or Kramdi playing every down. I agree if it would be nice to have another DE on the roster but with the limitations on Americans you can only have so many American backups playing.

If that happened you’d be complaining we have no import LB depth. I’m all for complaining about roster management after last year but this is getting ridiculous. I’m glad Hubert shows enough promise to stick around on the PR but he’s an 8th round pick for godsake

I guess Lemon is allowed to play while his suspension is appealed? Apparently it’s the Als right tackle’s first game, so hopefully Willie and Haba (and anyone else playing end despite being a tackle) can give him a warm welcome

Don’t know which American would come off the roster though. The back up DB? Then we’d all complain about the lack of depth there. could use a cdn DE. Mason Bennett coming still?
