I viewed the ‘11 cup loss as the dam breaking on Swaggerville. Not enough plays made but BC was also white hot at the time. The O had to show up and be productive and all we got was BC stacking the box everytime Watson pinched in to block for Chris Garrett. The result was infuriatingly predictable.

This team doesn’t talk about disrespect by other fandoms or media. They don’t even say “Grey Cup” during the regular season… they talk love for their teammates, going 1-0 each week… and sometimes they’ll reference the “ultimate goal”. Only -after- beating Hamilton for the cup last year did Biggie mention how satisfying it was to win despite the huge target on their backs.

O-line and Brady O will make a statement early… setting up multiple kill shots for Zach. Going to be glorious!

“Hottest team in the East” also finished their season with a home & home vs Ottawa. Now this is them vs a motivated Noel Thorpe defence.

BC has a decent run game and last game the Bombers stopped it cold, early when both teams were playing hard. Whoever comes out of the West Semi stands to get slapped by Hall’s playoff-mode defence.

Our guys never will say it publicly… but with tools like M.Sayles crowing and Rhymes being his usual whiny self… BC had it coming. Lions with all the press resulted in a big flex by the Bombers, just like the first time they met this year.

Collaros career win-loss is now 61-36… and 32-4 with the Bombers including Grey Cups. Feels like the dynasty is young and yet Zach already has more wins in Blue and Gold than all his other teams combined 🤯

Yup any one of our DL gets in his face a few times and we quickly see him standing on the sidelines… hopefully for his sake as a safety precaution. Otherwise the TB + media circle jerk and slurping is nauseating.

Echoing the what others are saying. Guys need to get on the field and in sync with their teammates and play calls. I’m sure he’s been in all the meetings and film room, but game speed elite is rarely at the flip-of-the-switch. Not the same timeframe but BA also taken three-four weeks to get his legs under him, as well as get used to guys like Holm, Parker, and now Lawrence etc.

With even shorter days it’ll cool off fast and BC gonna bundle up again.

This. Players are creatures of habit. Everything that goes into preparing for an opponent… the meetings, the film room, practice, the walkthrough, pre-game meal, the warm-up to the full suit-up… keep the mind and the winning habits sharp. The schedule this year and games of consequence going to the end of the season are good for this club. If you can, decide on limiting time during games to protect players.
