Yeah...he's not the best option...but we know he the Osh option...for varying reasons Gauthier in the traditional 3 LB set is a given...as we basically have nobody else..poor pr makeup there and doubt they will start Notree right outta the gate cause that's not how we do business...tho he prob wouldn't have a grasp on playbook anyway But if we have to replace 3 imports (BA..Griffin...Ayers) then one would assume Bridges for Griffen..Hallett likely for BA Still need 2 imports to fill out roster so Notree for Ayers mainly for ST..some defensive snaps..and then who? We have minimal options so the logical move would be Fox..to really shore up the defensive front to help with the missing pieces in the back 8 Many 3 and 4 combos..even some 5's with one as a Jack or dropping off with WJ/Woods/Fox/Adams/Haba/Garbutt...you would hardly need Thomas or Schmeck for rotation...really you could even only dress one of them and roster Karmoko or even Murphy in their spot for more over all depth on ST

We could always put Cole at safety...but I sure we will run Hallett there. If so then hopefully we add Fox for BA and have him..Adams...and Woods all rotating...with no need for excessive Jake and Schmeck I'd assume if Griffin isn't able to go it would be Bridges and I think Notree is a lock for Ayers I do hope tho we don't do something stupid and start and give majority of reps to Thomas..Gauthier..Hallett...when we already have Keamdi and Ford as locked in defacto "starters" We don't need to do that and why make your team weaker if you don't have to. No knock on Canadians but if we plan to start what could be 11...I gonna barf...let some your talent who likely have more a future here...plus upside get the reps.

I think if BC was still rolling....and a force...McCinnis has right dropped off...as his team has tanked...BO has gotten better and can be argued is the reason for the turn around, and it has infected others play...he should be a slam dunk for Canadian and MOP outta the West...if he's not...its a crime....tho I am sure he will rather enjoy hoisting the Cup again tho.....but still be a crime....In a league that likes to promote their Canadians...some at naseum...to over look one 2 yrs running is a shame and I would even say a blackmark on the league

I liked him....I didnt know he got released when I saw we picked him up...but I do know he makes plays I can see him slotting in this week as he plays teams...has experience and if Ayers is out...we meed him to get game reps in the defence system...I like this pick up...and may offer more down the stretch than Ayers soley based on he's seen it...and done it before

I wouldnt be so sure...we pissed all over 3 or 4 of the media's storylines this yr...so....payback.... He got robbed last yr...Stanley got robbed in 2021.....so wouldn't be shocked if he robbed again

generally if a DB is high in tackles....even knockdowns....can almost go as far as defensive plays....it indicates that they are, or their side of the field is being targeted. It's not like he is racing across the field breaking up the other HB/Corners battles...stats like have been said here are misleading, unless they are certain stats...like completion % against...Targets in red zone...TD's given up...etc....tackles are a poor sta...especially when not shown where it was....at l.o.s...5 yards past....2 yards behind...after 1st down gained.....converted 2nd and long....the list goes on...show me those stats and I will show you who are legit all-stars We track them at team, and scouting and recruitment level....Pretty sure the CFL "stats team" don't and I know our for most part brain dead "media" dont...or even think about that...they just look at 2 things...Int...tackles... Sask doesn't deserve a home game....their pityfull support the last few yrs being a good indication....BC vs SASK if played here as a neutral site would draw more than either place....for the sole fact we would boo thand razz the crap outta both teams affecting their offences...

agree....and thats what Lapo brings...explains the reasoning behind certain moves/plays....and why/how they are designed Suitor add's absolutely nothing....we need more Lapo's....and Zero Suitor's....he has ran his course Play by Play guys too....Ferguson I think is already good...gettiong better and add's knowledge and unbiased play calling for most part...Neilson if paired with a Lapo or a similar guy...would do wonders for him as well...with Suitor he just gets side tracked and led into pointless babble The big issue tho is the production aspect...lame...old...recycled...and definately not at the fore front of anything...let alone cutting edge...this needs to change asap

Even in his "big season" he was already being figured out...and against teams that were not weak...well he struggled a lot...and from what Campbell has created now...I don't think Rourke is mentally tough enough right now to drag his team across the finish line

I'd say Nichols....Then Ford and Bonds a close second...interchangeable raelly tho teams tend to avoid Bonds...a lot....Griffin factors in there too in the top 3....he's been lights out in all his roles....Holm has been...well Holm...decent...does some good things but has been beat a lot...and lacks physicality...I soooo wanna see him at Safety....All-star there Kramdi...tho "tchnically" a line backer....I will give him props with his work in the box and mucking it up close to line of scrimmage...He goes hard and has made impact plays.....but cover wise...scares the crap outta me and is not good in that role...Hence why I think Younger likes to throw in Griffin and Hallett/Kelly... hmmmm...Is Notree gonna be one those Maston/taylor type late yr moves that totally solidified us...both those were looked at as meh type moves by most I liked what Notree brought in games he played...versatile and athletic....perfect fit for what we do...plus he has experience and knows the league/players

yup....he's good...dont get me wrong but all the yapping is beyond sense now... Strev will be back here as he basically wont be on the books until after Labour Day...so it makes total sense. I hope when back we have him listed as a QB3 but he does stuff on teams...Like Prukopp...and have him come in in 2qb sets but actually utilize him effectively and let him work back to 100 percent "game" health as a multi role guy...Have hin do short yardage but straight forward with no nonsense like they doing with Wilson. It's a given ZC is gonna be back for 2025 and I would be fine with Wilson continued to be groomed and DoleBananna as the 3rd guy. I almost at the belief that with good coaching...scheme and pieces around him he can be more than serviceable as a back-up. Bring in competition for sure, but if we break camp with the 3 we have now...we are in good shape. I have a gut feeling about Wilson if brought along right and groomed properly he could be a legit real deal guy....no need to let a second home grown in our system QB walk I think VAJ deal will be re-worked so BC can trade him, cause if they don't they are screwed....it may involve using surplus money from this yr to give him a bonus but it will be manipulated so they off the hook for the guaranteed part for 2025. They tied themselves to Rourkie boy...with big cash so that is likely the only way out
