New Mosiac Stadium: Artificial Crowd Noise
Booch replied to Geebrr's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
For sure..all kinds of artificial crap they pull -
Hopefully Hamilton hangs on to the ball for final 12 minutes and does t give this game away...be huge for us
-
Yeah...but Strev is a "his" guy too...he loves him
-
So Hughes has been one-gamed...I guess ol Dickie trying to preserve him so he doesn't fall off the map yet again as he has seemed to already have started his swoon..
-
Totally agree....if he continues to win...whatever way that is...you keep rolling with him..especially once it gets cold out...
-
Personally I would have him on the bench, but ready to go in if need be. If Streveler is playing well up to then, You start him in the WF and give him a good quarter of work to see where he is at...if he is struggling you can then bring in Nichols to try and right the ship...and if anything let Strev see things from the sidelines and recompose things...if Nichols is struggling and not getting it done then bring back Strev...
-
i think if we can manage any more key injuries from not happening...and get all our current starters back for the last 6 games at some point...we should be in a really good spot regardless who we trot out at QB All I want to see from Strev in next few is more progression, no revisiting of past errors due to inexperience as a starter, and a bit more evolving of the offence to make things more conducive to him, and a headache for DC's and if this occurs we roll with him until Nichols is 100% healthy, and even then if things are still trending upwards I stick with him and have the Ace in the hole of Nichols in the bull-pen if and when he falters
-
Yeah I don't recall a season in some time where so may rushing attempts are snuffed out at the line..or for a loss...it does factor in to things like stats.
-
Bighill as well missed what..4 games too..and was obviously hurt when he came back But he doesnt have to do it all this yr anyway..so will have less stats..and also less runs against us where a LB piles up stats. He is part of the top defense..so must be doing something right
-
Lol...yup..Rod Penison at his finest
-
Hahaha...busted
-
He prob figures he doesnt need CFL coaching..I wonder if u guys resign him for next year
-
Is there a link to it? I need a good laugh
-
YEAH was almost wondering if that was your ST Coordinators plan to keep things between the hashes...or just Ryan trying to he-man all his punts for the ooh-ahh effect...seemed odd You guys were way better with Bartel at 3o to 40k cheaper most likely
-
their self proclaimed "best" oline in the league in 3 games against top defenses (us and Cgy) has given up 15 sacks...and countless pressures...and ran for an average of 69 yards a game....very dominant oline play
-
the funny part is Ryan beaking at him too....he can boom a punt sure...but thats not the be all end all...and they have given up most punt return td's and average gain on a return in league...lots of that is cause of your punter..100k well spent
-
If he doesn't play oline or several spots on defense he won't help them much...when you have about 7 minutes of T.O.P in a half like in the BB cause your defense can't get off the field doesn't really matter what you have on offence with a creaky O-line
-
Wherein this is where The Strev gives us more...sometimes those situations with him he takes off and they turn into plays of 10 yards or more...
-
I feel he is better than Nichols...all intangibles aside, I believe he gives us more chances to win...especially when it gets cold out. 4-5 drives would have stalled the last 2 games with no production at all with Nichols in and not having Strevelers abilities to escape...or get yards on the ground...also after heavy doses of him running you see players...a lot of DB's almost shy away and not want to stick their nose in there to meet him head on. Slowly Lapo is morphing things each week tailored to Streveler..and it has shown on the field...once that kid gets fully comfortable and confident...look the eff out
-
And younger than Hecht..
-
Fjardo throws a decent ball in the 10 to 20 yard area...but his deep ball is not good...noodle arm so has to put a lot under it...and those deep type lolipops are prime for picks
-
that was a classic duck and chuck because of the pressure in his face....should never have put that ball up
-
Chris Streveler - Has your opinion changed?
Booch replied to B-F-F-C's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
as the season goes...he will find the range on his deep balls... -
yeah he was their best player...and most professional. I said right from the get go that he would fade...and the first few games where he was hitting those deep shots was more catching teams off guard as teams didn't think he could make a deep ball...and if you go back and watch that pretty much everyone was a matter of a ball hanging up there and the receiver having to stop...or come back for it...DB's usually were in trail and not a position to make a play....but once teams caught on..it would basically disappear...which it has
-
Lucky tho has basically caught everything thrown at him...and has averaged 8.4 yards a carry on his runs....not like he isn't doing anyhting...and he draws attention from others...
