if we can get consistent active push in the middle, and a complimentary end.....and yes another one to rotate which we most likely will have now as the Seal has been removed from the situation, then I think we will be just fine up front...With Lawson at one tackle...and a rotation of likely 2 of Fox/Randall and Woods we should be very capable...and it also hinges on how we deploy and how we scheme. I have zero faith in Schmeckle....Kornelson as quality contributors, and if Bennet shows no progression...u can add him to the mix as well as capable Canadian rotation depth.....So the draft is key, and hopefully the re-signing of Kongbo to remove one of them right out of the equation...I have had to accept the fact Thomas will be rostered unless he gets hurt as thats just what Osh does....even if not the best option, so for hopefully 10 or less snaps a game he can have guys funneled into his big gut by others much like the last 2 yrs , and his vet knowledge will make him place hold while someone takes a breather.. Db's I think this yr will actually be better than last to be honest...and possibly with a bit of switch in philosophy make it even stronger yet....I curious who slots at SAM as technically we don't need to be Canadian there, so for most part at LB hard to say what we look like until camp and see whats left in Biggies tank...I am confident in Wilson.....Kramdi was adequate at best, but that doesnt do it for me....We need a playmaker/difference maker there....he is not that...and he isn't at this stage in his career morph into that unless he goes on a serious PED experiment Draft is huge this yr...especially with the picks we have...we can't pooch it....and good chance we may make a trade and acquire a piece if we are able to secure our 2 targets we want he was average at best in that role, and if u watch film/tape/tv...he biffed a lot of assignments...and was a total non factor on ST's...Osh loved the guy for what he was...key word was, and not for his football ability....and it influenced his roster decision...plain and simple... thats just also ore than solidifies the fact that Haba should have been in all yr instead of the Seal, ...all 3 together got it done...much like yrs previous when we had 3 solid DE's rotating with a 4th guy who was more than adequate

good thing for yosh the Rider jumped the gun there....probably pocketed an extra 40k in salary if Allen had signed first...classic baffoonery from Oday....

to be honest our starting depth is just fine with any combo of Bryant, Eli, Dobson, Neuf and Kolo....a rookie right tackle in that group isnt gonna kill us...and quite possibly if this Vanterpool kid pans out he can be more versatile than Yosh in how we use our Tackle....won't be as experienced, but doesnt need to be coming into a vet laden room and playing next to a solid vet in Neuf

well is gonna have to as we have nobody else unless we draft one...which seems likely now what happened with that local kid who was supposed to be in camp last yr...was academically ineligible to go to Nebraska or somewhere?...maybe he back in camp again this spring

Yeah...I don't want a Hallett long-term at safety either...kramdi at SAM over Hallett to me is like picking the tallest little person...we really don't even need to go Canadian at sam anyway...I would like to just declare 1 national on defence and use it on the Line...with Lawson ..as the main guy...but that's what makes Kongbo a key add...or another producing Canadian....via draft...FA or trade...we got 10 picks...maybe get a guy like how we landed Lawson. And we could rotate a Ford or Kramdi in at times to go 2 import DT's as well as times or a cheetah package with 3 de's and Kongbo Another thing to really allow some defensive flex is tag Biggie as your Nationalized Player and actually use him as such 29 times a game and roll all Import....Walters and Miller should tell Osh to.suck it up..out aside his dislike of the rule and use it to make us better I think it is more of reviewing the season and where things went wrong..and where we could have been better it stuck out like a sore thumb...or was a decision that came from above Osh... It truly was one of the more pointless and basically stupid decisions I have seen in all my yrs of football...that is a coach killer maneuver but Osh was shielded by past success and all the accolades heaped on him...at least this yr now we know....well I hope we can know that outside of Castillo the rest of the DA's will have a useful purpose

Walters says every yr he has no money..then out of blue someone is signed...I think it's moreso he's referring to about big name/ticket guys...and deservedly so as right now we have our fair share ..and ones who are at the top of their position in the league. So depth/role guys will come from scouting and the draft...which shouldn't be too hard with basically the same scouting and management group being together now for 10 years...and knowing some of the network we will be fine. The key is this yrs draft, and the amount of picks we obtained...and focusing on positional players who have pro potential...not just teams...you can teach teams easily and any new young guy will ball out on them...we failed in this last 5..yrs and it's almost biting our ass You have to remember last 4 yrs we haven't really had to unearth anyone as we were set...it's not like we didn't have the network to do so..we have had to basically continuously find dbs and have done very well with that. I been going over roster and there are some guys who will surprise...I actually like the group of Fox..Randall..Woods and now this Waggoner...and we have a collection of edge guys to push Haba who technically is now the incumbent. Seems like some scrambling... definitely some questions will need to be answered and a guy or 2 needs to step out of the masses...but I not to concerned

yeah....picked the wrong guy....unless it was a money crunch thing....but Kolo at best should be 6th guy on depth chart....and he is a horrible 6th guy as any injury prob means a right oline shuffle in game

he is a stud....had a string of games/snaps where he didnt allow a sack or a penalty...was a phenomenal amount...off top my head cant recall WhatI do know is has good feet and athleticism for a big guy...likes to get in second level on runs and cause havoc too....could be the replacement....also has experience at guard too

odd we are moving on...he wouldn't have garnered big bucks either....not sure who they see as his replacement on the roster

If we Have WJ...Lawson...Fox...thats a good trio to have as a base....liking that Jamal Woods too now that I realize we have him signed, and Randall is a big body whom could also push for a spot...we know Haba can play, and I truly think Garbutt is better....so even if those are the 2 top guys out of camp...and we actually roster both and not be stupid all yr and waste a spot on Jackson, I think that line is actually better than what we had last yr...especially with Thomas hopefully having minimal reps, and if we could swing Kongbo to keep Bennett out of the rotation...I can't see him bringing more than he did last yr... I will pass judgment on Biggie when I see what he has in camp, but also if he is a part time guy helping groom a newbie....he can be pretty useful for one more yr....Wilson as well...will be more like he was 2 yrs removed from Achilles repair...he actually was just fine last yr already...so not too worried there.....and we also have Cole in the mix, and we will have some new blood as well even if he is not better than someone else after camp?...if thats the case..then our coaching staff needs a slap upside the head....or aren't this be all end all most claim....you play the best players...not the best...and a few of your fav's and guys that are endearing to u...thats just stupid
