games he started as a raw as can be rookie in his rookie yr he had 8 tds to 4 ints....3 to start the yr...BB...And part of the last game of yr also rushed for 268 yardsand 4 TD's.....then we went way off the rails developing him....no reason he cant be a dual threat QB IF allowed to

shown a chance??..Like a prolonged legit one running the playbook....when...i haven't witnessed that yet....and even when they gave him the start this yr with the stupidest game plan I think ever created he still slugged out a win....at the expense of his health until he got taken out with a cheap shot. And correct...our QB development skills wer a disgrace in regards to him....we had no clue how to use him...Maybe this newbie wearing the headset actually will....and get the most out of him...wouldnt say much about Lapo and Buck.....glad both are gone btw He was never use like Hill in New Orleans was...

My opinion is Wilson will be the QB of this team moving forward into 2026....Grooming him with Strev to see who grasps the starter role...the other will back-up....I could care less about a number 3 guy to be honest...Patterson...Dolebanana offer the same....very average at best play.....no upside really and not a starter in the waiting....Wilson has everything you want and its very visable...heasnt got a lot of reps....yet....put in his time on the field shows wayyyyyy moe than Dru ever did in his first 2 yrs...Dru looked scared and confused...Wilson doesnt...and Wilson has a better arm...

Patterson is trash...zero upside there...not sure the reasoning other than in case Strev isn't ready to go week 1 I also see Strev used as a legit QB and full breadth of the playbook...Wilson showed he can operate the short yardage and why risk running Strev into that mass of bodies..and risk injury to knee early on...maybe next yr but this yr be foolish

good thing going into camp...we have 4 outta 5 QB's who have experience...and won games in the league....the 5th guy prob has the best potential and serious upside, and already shows the traits you want...so we dont have to rush abd ruin him, and maybe this time a guy we develop stays in the fold...I'm okay with our situ at the moment at QB....As long as we dont extend before camp...or during the season

He has great pocket poise...and he actually surveys the field...and when he escaped the pocket...he still looks to pass...but he can gouge you with his running if you aren't smart in contain...he's gonna be good and I can see in 2026 he being 1a and Strev 1b as Wilson learns the game

Pretty sure they see Wilson as the starter of the future...has all the tools and crazy good pocket poise Your right tho...even if they "jam" the box you need to be able to combat it...that was just a built in excuse for a poor game plan...plain and simple...scheme to counter it...not abandon...lame lame

Yeah he starts to move with intent of still throwing...we also a lot of.times removed half the field for him to throw to which was dumb...and had way too many runs just right into bodies...get him in sprint outs and roll outs and if either of his first 2 reads which should be clearing it out downfield aren't open then he has lots of green to gobble up...or just play pitch and catch to the guy just sitting in space 6 to 7 yards off l.o.s....I don't recall that once last yr...

He was also hurt too from.excessive designed runs...took it's toll He showed just fine as a raw rookie his first yr...and that was with all of 2 yrs as a qb in college behind him and learning a new game...he will be fine if he gets to play....quarter back Yup...dumb

Yup...when they realized his running ability and escape ability they abused it to the extent his running became predictable and irrelevant Let him go back to a QB who can run to escape pressure if need be...my opinion is a good signing...1 yr deal..to.show he cam be a qb..and is only 30...so conceivably has 5..6..yrs ahead of him. People who say he can't throw based on what we did with him are mislead... Buck didn't know what to do with a lot of his players skill sets..that was one his faults.. and had a hard time adjusting on fly outside his game plans if they didn't work That's why I like Jackson here and hope to hell he has a lot more say in the playbook creation and game day quality control...he knows how to utilize certain skill sets to get most out of them Tracy Ham'sh Go watch his college games...he's fine in pocket..as he was in his brief nfl snippets The thing is if you let him play as a pass first QB with that running threat if things break down or DE' s don't respect contain..defences will have to.play pass and still be wary of him taking off...especially if we use sprint outs...slide protections to switch up launch points...how we used him last yr..was pointless and teams just crashed down with ears pinned back... Our coaching hooped and hamstrung us in varying aspects..hopefully they have learned

that was god awfull management 5 straight yrs....3 straight failures...preventable ones....sure they good times....but in the end if you happy with failing...then be happy....your choice...nobody connected to the team is happy...nor considered those season's a success...why do you? should give you a lil more incentive tho...no?

My take is that if you wanna be in your home Grey Cup...do what ya gotta do...does it mean go over tha cap a bit...so be it...does it mean circumvent the cap a bit and pay ungodly "Marketing" money to secure a guy...have at er as the fans have been here for the team and helped fill their coffers....reward them a bit for it.....if it means stepping on some toes of other G.M's....giver'...the nice guy schtick and act has grown a bit stale...asl long as it in the constraints of the rules and normal football Op's coming and goings....I'm all for it...If it mean's poaching a guy of a PR....poach away....not like it's illegal.
