Just a case of Osh and his tendency to over look a new guy for a player with even just 1 game of experience...that's how he coaches and why it's so hard for any new guy here to get a shot...

Especially if he lights it up too

he needs help...as in actual receivers who can get open, win battles and actually do something after the catch....and most important....pull guys away fron the box...ZC needs that too even more

Our OC and the sad state of affairs with our receivers are hindering both QB's and also BO There is no respect given to our current group and save for Demski teams can play soft coverage and blanket the field and make plays on our other guys who basically can't do much after catch...BO has more bodies to navigate and with no legit threats to pull guys away...well we see the results. People were saying Strev wasn't pulling trigger...well thank God as it would have ended in forced picks...ZC would have forced them and we'd be all squaking And hes not as limited running as many think...hes got nowhere to run...and we aren't moving him around to take advantage of a run outside...the times we do roll or sprint out hes been successful but we do it 2 times a game it seems...build your offence around stuff like that...bring wheatfall across the middle...which we never do...will multi layered patterns with speed...and then you'd see his run threat become just that...the threat again We need guys who can go get it...we try to use Demski as that and he can at times be successful but shouldn't be that guy...we Corcoran...Sterns..Case...ain't guys to do that...variations and confusion is what we need...we are so simple to defend.. as a rapper I know says ..."you try to cover...I fake a flag and run a post to toast" We need a pro offence...our stupid decision again to show zero urgency on the O.C position till well into 2025 and then promote an internal guy with a piddly limited resume...just because it seems was as dumb as reupping ZC sight unseen

Yeah he should get 2 or 3 in a row for sure if anything to let ZC rest...he came into the rain game...then last night no real practice all week and a high-school level oc'd game and a div 2 quality recieving group...get a full week in this week...get some legit scheming..coaching...and talent around him...and see whats what...also gotta remember...hes barely 9 months removed from a complete knee rebuild...takes time to get the movement and running back

And no play makers...not a good mixture He's legit...I know guys who clocked him at mid 4.5's in 40 yard dash...for dline guy that's insane

On the vaval KR td was nice to see J.Jones and Adams take out the guys to spring him and our rookies Shay and Smith escort him in...

Yup...Person addition...Griffin addition and the reworking of Kramdi and Parker..J.Jones added to LB mix made a huge difference and allowed players like WJ..Vaughters...T.Jones..Nichols..Holm and Adams to really benefit....Kelly back as well was a plus...I think we gonna be okay on defense...couple lil adjustments...figure out the one db spot...minimize or eliminate Thomas and play that more aggressive attack style like we did save for that 3rd quarter fall back to our old scheme and we can real good...gonna need them I think offensively we screwed for the yr and we gonna have to scratch and claw and win ugly for any chance of wins...Reciever is a joke...oline is in shambles...OC is I think way over his head and not helping In hindsight maybe it was best we cut bait with Kolo...Thomas...Kramdi and used that 450k toward Dobson and Lawler...Give Eli and or Wallace every chance to play center...people like to say Eli has never took the job...but was never offered either...u start him 18 games...he'd be more than fine...and or we drafted a center or targeted one in FA...the season trajectory would look way different for sure...

But also on the flip....hold on to guys past their usefulness....or better days....and dont reload on the fly unless forced due to injury and defections.....Thats not on the Scout nd G.M cause guys were cut...TC here is short...and for most part even ineffective so sometimes you just gotta make the moves....other teams do I agree tho....we lost some good scouting avenues...and sadly one the better up and comers we had who went unheralded left due to why bother doing it here when your work just gets discarded for trash coach's fav's We relied too much on elite talent in their prime and not reloading when we could have with depth to push and challenge...or even take over and have the vet as depth...looked backward too much at past success and not forward....and we all know in football a guy can fall off the ledge in no time....especially once the clock turns over 30...32 yrs

Doug Brown has also been there...seen it...and I sure talks to guys....so he's not talking Cause he see's a lot of the things averge fan is oblivious to, and also knows Osh plays fav's....has bias....and is poor at structuring a roster....he's not alone

And any rookie receiver who comes up...especially slot i...and any HB is playing a position they basically never have either...and it's a non issue Cooley on to be used as a back....and in 2 back sets....or a motion guy makes total sense...any skill position guy coming into the league could...and should be able to do it...or taught it, and if they can't...then why the hell they even on the roster, and what are our positional coaches and co-ords doing? Punt returning is a knack and yes not anyone can just do it and Cooley wasnt out there for punts,,,thank god...Kick-offs tho are fairly straight forward and easy...so either they nevcer had him practice it...which is likely as we never practiced all week, so the smart coaching would have just left MCI back there who has not been an issue...or put proven Cobb back there...just another case of our brain numb coaching that is hurting us more than helping a lot of times and we win in spite of it Having Cooley on, and not using him at all on offence was pointless and a waste...Allen on would have made more sense seeing as we got an injury to Parker, and he also showed he can play safety if Kramdi was failing there....also....elephant in room Mitchell...proven KR guy....and receiver....who needs to be given his shot, or we cut bait....just poor coaching and roister management every which way it's looked at

Bit of backstory...I work with other trainers/coaches and recruiters prepping guys for combines...free agent tryouts and OTA's and also guys who can't or no longer eligible for NCAA to land in some JUCO programs...anyways was aware of Person...and knew he was a guy on a lot of NFL radars...so when we signed him I touched base with people in my orbit and asked how the hell this happened...I mentioned it before here but a few teams wanted him to be a pass rush specialist but to bulk up...and he didnt want to add the weight and just be situational...so explored his options...I believe we neg listed him and up he came...he really shouldn't be up here but our gain...hope he stays here but if he keeps playing like he is and getting better I can see him getting looks next yr

Kolo needs to be replaced if not just for one game to see the difference...dude is worst center in league and not even close...just like we have worst DT...Had worst SAM but shockingly we finally made the change..and it was net positive...time for center...and DT...dline is obvious as sky blue is better snaps Jake is on bench...glue and all

Been calling for Person to be added the minute we signed him...was shocked we actually got him to come up....with more play time hes gonna really start to impress more than he has...he allows WJ and Vaugters to now ball out...and those fronts with all 3 and Adams...caused havoc all night He just had a 3 game spell of brain cramps...maybe he has worked through it...still raw but huge potential...

On crap teams...he also put up over 600 in 9 games too...sterns has never broke 500...and was dropped off sask roster for suspect hands... Regardless...right now they would both be on...so nobody besides Demski...and a bit by wheatfall and clercius has really established much of anything...let alone had success...pro coaches should be able to make any prospect work and fit into any system...and if they can't...or player can't...neither should be here Osh oshin...plain and simple...I've always said too he has a Canadian player bias even if not best option...and have seen that in spades in his time here... He...Osh is a major part of the issue...he corrected some last game..but more needs to be corrected Person is good example...I been saying since last yr he was prob one our best all around dl guys...Uber athletic..fast...also powerful...and his previous coaching/training has been top notch as his handskills and bend to get under guys is elite...2 games and hes immediately made WJ..Vaughters and Adams seem better Jones too...he played a lot of coverage in the flats and was always in the right drops...notice no free wheeling guys free gouging us through middle..reason for that...save for that bit in 3rd we were tight...coincidentally he wasn't used that drive Griffin as well...huge upgrade in both coverage and tackling...Kramdi was such a weak spot there...and him and T.Jones together...doubly as bad...not sure if watching J.Jones helped T.Jones but that pick...his position on how he dropped was best thing he done here in 2 yrs...was perfect If makonzo is back...with the jones' ...Griffin...Wilson...our 2 canadian rookies who need to be integrated..Kelly now as well, I hope when woods is ready he bumps Ayers off...as we basically have relegated him to ST only now...that would improve our front 7 rotation even more

Funny part...well maybe not funny but Osh has said that "they feel" like he wouldn't be a good option there.. well a lot of his other feelings too have been poor judgement...maybe give him a shot...some guys just don't wow in practice Yeah just an Osh justification for his poor decisions...Corcoran is nice depth...and for teams...Mitchell offers way more...has proven it...and teams would have to respect him out there...Corcoran doesn't get that...heck prob Demski is only one currently who garners any...Sterns is a decent piece...if he was your 3rd import...even the extra guy...we in a bad spot offensively
