pretty sure he was on PR all yr last year...and also has 3 other seasons of PR time..so he prob is got limited time...and not sure if looked at as an unlimited PR time guy... Kongbo was one who I figured would be the fur sure cut...and most likely to be back first....so that means now he prob sticks hahaha...they only have 5 spots to trim in Denver still....so....he could be a bubble guy

thing is Bryant has CFL experience...so could step in basically immediately....a guy new to CFL not so much on the line...And not sure who if any returnees there are that could shake free

if he doesnt take a PR spot...he will be back here....U can book that he has stated during his time down there he would exhaust all possible options, before considering coming back...which he is obviously in latter stages doing....and when he feels its exhausted...u will see him back. I'm not throwing names out either...so believe what you want...Maybe I have talked to him and got that first hand....could of eh?...also...never said I know each teams $$ position...but I do know we can make a competitiveif not top offer for any returnee this fall obviously not...nor does he realize Strev stating he is going to exhaust all options and opportunities before looking north

in all honesty Strev is never going to get the chance to be a starter there now at his age/experience, and the likelyhood of an actual true back-up is just as slim...High draft picks and tenured NFL journeyman will get that gig first...he will be basically a PR guy now...or emergency rostered body...with no future...sad..and sucks...but that is facts...he should pro-rate himself up here...play it out and see if gates any last sniff at close of the 2022 CFL season....and if nothing materializes, then maximize his earning potential up here

Shepley...off top my head did as well....I sure there others...the funny thing is there are a lot of guys who have come to canada after failed NFL attempts....got cut or couldnt get on game day roster here, and still got an NFL chance again....just because you dont hear...doesnt mean its not occurring...Brandin Bryant here for us is another example...played a season after 2 NFL stints...we let him go for an NFL chance...resurfaced the next yr in Mtl....then has had 3 more stints with Cleveland, Miami and Buffalo...If he was to get the snips this yr...I'd be all over that if I was Walters as he is only 28 I believe Not a Bomber...But Shepley just got released...sure would be a nice scoop to take him from Sask...tho he seems like a guy who will exhaust every chance down there

we may have clinched to...3..4..5 weeks from end of year..so would be tons of opportunity....plus....even before with Collaros....he ran short yardage, as well as stayed in for extending the drive....as well as within the 10 yard line a lot of times he ran the offence....and I know u keep going back to the gimmick thing....but he would be on field a lot also....he would take 2..3 weeks to be a viable starter elsewhere as would be a whole new playbook...all new teammates here he has familiarity, a similar play book and would be so easy to integrate some of what we ran before he left...also...the Dude I'm sure just wants to be part of something, and do whatever is asked....he has stated that....so why not do it from where u know and love?...theres no team right now that can throw buckets of cash at him moreso than us...and u know Walters has $$ kicking around...been running things for 9 yrs...always has...so this yr is no diff

He aint replacing ZC....So yes he would be used as short yardage and 2QB sets...call it a gimmick if u want, but he would be the back-up QB used in plays while ZC is upright...If he was hurt...He would become the frigin QB...Not a gimmick....but continue spinning stuff to suit yer fancy....good god...He wouldnt be signed to park ZC on bench. And apparently there was a rift with team and Harris about the FIFO culture.....so spin that how u wish too....Lawler went for $$....so guess he didnt fit in eh?...same with Harris....and to be honest we havn't really missed either as our record show...and their respective ones do....go for money..sacrifice wins...culture and stability....to each their own...others stayed for less...and will again next yr....as with Strev I have it on pretty good sources that if he were to come back to Canada for a pro-rated season (as thats all he is signing for this yr) that it will be in Winnipeg...or nowhere...take it for what its worth and spin it how you wish....But I will ride and die with what I know and have heard...and not on fan forum boards

not a gimmick...he is not supplanting ZC unless he is hurt....but if he was to sign...you use him where and how you can....I stand firm in Lapo basically neutering and basically almost ruining him here....So use him as short yardage/change of pace...2 QB sets and whatever else the team see's him doing well....and god forbid if ZC goes down for the Yr...I'd feel much better rolling into playoffs with Strev than anything we have on roster right now

yup...thats the NFL for ya...I'm sure he will gets some calls...some looks/workouts and likely a PR spot....but if thats as far as he gets....he may tire of it...and he only has so much PR eligibility left...he uses that up...along with his actual roster time in ARZ...he severely reduces his window of opp too..

dont fool yourself...every team would take an upgrade regardless of their situation....and loyalty is a real thing....and so is familiarity....friends...and team....and Strev is total team/FIFO...If he comes back...it would be here...chance to win....not a shitshow tire fire...the list goes on....All the teams u mentioned save for B.C has legit starter money tied up in their QB's...well Mtl is on the cheap now as well...but with issues there...why bother?...and you can tie yourself to a contract, with agreement to be released if you get an opp....players can get let go at any point in season

Maybe he just wants to play tho?....and coming up here and lighting it up, then getting released at end of season allows him to land somewhere again this yr, as well as stay sharp actually playing..and getting paid...Won't blame him for trying to land on a PR, and he will prob take a good month to do so..but unless it's the perfect landing with actual chance to play...or get on the roster....why....

he would for sure bump off Prukop....who could be dealt for a pick...Strev could run the short yardage....I would like to see him come in for the tight end set instead of Miller....2 QB at same time set....he said he would play teams...so why wouldn't he here...lots of options, and lots of actual play time as well....he won't be on the bench thats for sure. He's plug and play...as would be Kongbo if cut free...any one else new to the team...or CFL for that matter likely wont be immediately....I don't see us picking up an import RB...No real need as we have Mcrae, and BO/JA are the starter anyway...Don't think BO will miss anytime...maybe one game, but lets deal with that if it happens

agreed....he should leave his TC play as a statement for now....sign up to close season here for a playoff run...and have major eyes on him and then see who wants him when CFL season is done for a look see, or come next NFL TC season...that would be the best scenario for him...bouncing around for some workouts...trying to get a PR spot...doesn't get you paid, and really....you don't get live reps in a game....Is that the likely scenario....prob not...but one can hope....The reality is right now teams are kinda gonna go with what they have for first month or so...barring some catastrophic injury somewhere...so to get playtime....get film....get paid an equivalent amount right now the CFL has to look appealing...Plus he has had a lot of PR time already, and roster time...so his window is shrinking and why waste it right now when likely he wont see the field immediately
