well in his defence...was in the top echelon in the league last yr when he went out....question is...can he stay healthy now...or was last yr just a freak thing...

not to rehash...but we dropped a turd on a few fronts...and I think ZC injury affected him more than he or the team will let on, as they are not about excuses...he looked off all game, and was a different off then at times in season, but would then generate the winning drive...so no time better than now to start the 3 outta 4 cups and a new streak And Sayles would be a nice guy to have back...on a easy on the SMS deal but isn't a necessity and what he brought should be easy to replace with a rookie import I do for some reason like the thought of one yr of Micah Johnson in the middle...with our ends, and a fully healthy Wilson and Biggie roaming the gaps...I bet he has one real good season left in him being a pain in the ass for interior o-lines

I sure all the posters on their forum are all saying yup...he sucks..needed to be done..yadda yadda yadda...after singing his praises the last few yrs...he prob a doper now thats why he couldnt pee too haha u nailed the bolded part and if not this yr...by next ELI will be the best center in the league...dude plays with toughness and meaness....can move bodies like nobodies business and was trained at the highest level other than pro...No worries there at all

he's got 6+ months...all of camp...and since the fire was still there I am sure he will be just fine..,,.like others said...no knock on Kolo but if he is the starter game 1...something went seriously wrong....he's great depth tho but last year was adequate ...nothing more...nothing less....anyone playing with our tackles and guards should do adequately....Gray came on just fine last year...and he is versatile as heck too....I have no issues with him from my vantage point...plus he plays nasty and aggravates the hell outa dlineman

Yeah...Hoping we make it work with Darby this time...I know Maston is back to full training, but not sure banking on him again with the recent history is the smart play...tho would prob be very very cap friendly...and if he was 100 percent dude can ball....I'm sure the Bomber athletic therapists and surgeon are all over it and would know if he worth the time and money ...he is only just turned 30...so not like he is a relic by any stretch...

wont take much to aclimize...has 2 yrs already in system...and is a natural center...and ran reps there both his yrs here in practice...e will need to acclimize no more than any other player in first weeks of camp, and I am sure he is coming into camp in shape....has 7 months to do so

cap casualty to maintain other pieces...and smart move by Walters....we showed last yr that we can perform without Couture at center, and this yr will be with Eli who is head and shoulder better than Kolo, and likely will be better than Couture.....we got several good yrs out of him, but need to know who and when with your roster to move on from to keep the more important pieces here Once he gets his groove back...will be the dominant center in the league

was just gonna say and alluded to that in a different thread...he's not an up young up and comer...has reached his peak...which is a career back-up depth guy, and I think was even out of football for a yr or 2...good depth role guy and landed in a good situation here, and yes played well....i would say adequately....he will be the 7th guy here and on the PR or the scratch....i'd be shocked beyond belief if he ends up ahead of Eli and Dobson when dust of TC settles....so we have him as nice depth now and know if injuries occur he can step in and not hamper us

Eli.....Thats his natural position and prior to his injury w a top 3 NCAA center prospect for the NFL.... Doubt it....Kolo is adequate at best....and has reached potential....gets out muscled and pushed around too much to be "the guy" He benefited much like Chunhg before he left here by great teamates..scheme and environment...and you have to remember...what is he..like 31..32 going into this yr?...career journeyman back up who landed in right situation here...he will be the depth 6th guy as he can play guard/center and only if he beats out Dobson which I dont see happening

I know they were...but it was a fixed offer and no back and forth...was this is what we can do....you know the organization and guys...and we have good chance of playoff money.....and Ott basically were the dumb dumbs to blow the wad and rape another position on their squad that was more exposed after the fact tho...nobody really saw that, or said that until after the fact you know damn well who...lol.... thats the only spot I would over pay a bit as well at O-line...not sure the makeup of their SMS but at quick glance can be doable there....for us to have done that would likely been a choice...Demski or Desjarlais....and its a quick answer of Demski all day considering what we have at O-line for interior depth, and the fact last year we did pretty damn good once Gray established himself and were evn still using a 6th/7th type oline guy at center....for the most part.... even tho I doubt he would have went back to Sask anyway based on how it went last time...thats one more guy who is off the list as potential help thee who would have been a huge upgrade for them...

but really tho...why would Demski want to play in that market...basically anonymously....cause Andrew is there..as opposed to being the toast of his town....highly recognized and in a first rate stadium..organization and atmosphere....and only way I see that happening is if T.O offers stupid money and then they have to cut ways with other important pieces...Gittens is gonna wanna get paid too

we have unquestioned the best in the league....and not over paying anyone on it...there in is the rub thats allowed us to be successfull for yrs now...took B.C several years to climb out of that Chungh overpay...and Reilly contract....and their window was last yr...and it slammed shut on them....for now

Well based on how his foot and lower leg got rolled up over...I'd say no...as that would have took down anyone...and I was surprised he wasn't hurt worse...and the shoulder was hurt laying out for a crazy catch...much like how Lawler was hurt this yr...so I'd say no and more just bad luck

when he did get that full game in...looked good...has all the metrics...and plays hard...also plays teams, so could be a valuable player...and like they say...you cant teach that size and he has good hands...even had that rep in NFL camps...You saw how lethal he can be in red zone production

Was just spitballin' numbers..as wasnt sure where he was....he didnt make list of top paid...so was under 130k last year as that was lowest that was published...so he may have been just at or around 100k...so a bump for him won't be that big....also he signed latish last yr as well...Feb 2nd...likely after he got what other teams considered on opn market in tampering window
