he fully participated...and also took reps with the starters on defence....Prob some excuse Osh is using to justify not placing him on roster hahaha....I laugh and jest....but in a way....sadly its prob true It's a season ending...or a significant injury waiting to happen....And one of our ends is prone to injury....and from experience playing....many many injuries occur with tired out guys, or when guys are "taking a play off"...cause they are just gassed. Does anyone here truly think that say if Willie or Jeffcoat got knocked out first quarter we would be okay with Bennett and Thomas basically on the field all damn game?...I sure don't....and anyone who says yeah is fullashit! Same even can be said for Walker...Thomas cant pull 80% of reps...Nor can Lawson yet at this point as he has never had to do that....but he should be....

Or Miller is back....whatever comes first....but good chance he will sit someone else and keep burning that DA spot...which makes it even more frustrating as he is still being a stubborn clown and not using the Nationalized American option as well....why is anyone's guess but he is the only one not taking advantage of it If he would use Jackson for meaningful reps outside of garbage time it wouldn't be so bad...but he's not.....so it's pointless to burn the DA for 6 to 10 snaps a game and some ST work....If a coach on another team...Especially Jones or Dicklesson in Sask was doing that....not using the nationalized rule as well....we'd be chortling and laughing and saying what a doofus he was and a lousy coach...But since our own is doing it...its all good...we won 2 cups...last of which was 2 yrs ago....yeah us

Truth seems with Osh that if we win...he just keeps as is...sure why change things...but also there are options to make us even better, with guys who have been here...not rookies...so why wait for a screw-up causing a loss...or just a loss cause a certain player wasn't the best option....dont get that...be pro-active and not reactive

Hard not to argue with this....Mtl as well has better depth, and better coaches...If Sask is to win this...it will be a shortened game like they eeeked a win a few yrs agoi due to weather....Or they get the luckiest bounces and fluke out a win they didnt earn...If the FAJ actually just stays in his lane and not try to do too much....and doesnt try and be something he isn't...I can see them cruising to a win

don't get it...we totally don't need Mcrae on offence right now....but could use another defensive body and a more reliable punt returner....Our return game and ability to gain field position...or flip the field for that matter has been non-existent with Mcrae...and to be honest a bit scary and from watching practice Monday, still was scary and so unsure...Parker was smooth like Grant....able to catch the ball and go immediately, as well as grab it confidently on the run....Mcrae let everyone that wasnt at him bounce

I lie how other teams right now seem to be getting the injury bug, as we about to crawl out of that hole we been in all yr.....nice timing for the crunch part of the season just beginning

that and epic failures the last few seasons....a lot of it due to some poor coaching...and a big lack of discipline issues in a lot of instances that just havn't gone away....which falls again squarely at coaches feet

yeah thats the rub...Jeffreys was basically promoted from within as nobody wanted that job.....they got tired of guys not even wanting to waste their time even interviewing...so again...like their current HC....They settled....for someone with no business in that position.....and are what they are cause of it

if Sask was smart....which is pretty evident based on a whole pile of things they are not, they would bring him in there, even if as just an offensive consultant....as Jeffrey's is so out of his league it's not even funny

Haba played the teams....Gurbutt was on them today from what I watched....so I'm sure they will be fine there as well And in game if BO goes down...we can get by with Augustine and a run game by committee anyway...and fact of the matter, once Grant is back he is likely off the roster anyway....so may as well do some things now with him off, and see what results are. We aren't gonna sot Bailey/lawler or Schoen for Mcrae....Miller will do what Jackson does....and better....so the smart money would be to add a dlineman with Jacksons spot...considering we have played games without Jackson and did jut fine with the limited full back package

at this moment...with all our offensive guys healthy we wouldn't even need Mcrae...I'd like to see Haba when healthy, or Garbutt now in his spot to see how a rotation of the Jeffs...Fox and Walker and Thomas/Lawson and Haba and Garbutt...and truth be told...Those 8....would give defenses fits, as everyone would be fresh. Too bad Leggs didnt work out as having to DA and American at kicker limits your roster

Burtenshaw is back...who could do it...Heck we have used Gray there, and we have had several games with no full back even listed. Jackson burning a DA spot at that position has no bearing, or is not caused by anything else ratio wise...We start 8 canadians...6 on offence..2 on defence....so if there is only 1 declared to be a defensive starting Canadian, which is whatwe have done....then Thomas can come out all game and be replaced by FOX...Haba...Gurbutt....and extra DB...hence why the burning of a DA on a FB is even more pointless all thigs considered.\ Also factor i if Osh would put aside his stubbornness of that new rule...which all teams but us use, we would be even more well set up to really dominate and have fresh legs coming in and out . Parker had 2 college returns, but was the in game back-up...so practiced it often I am told, and it is apparent watching the 2 guys field kicks...and fielding kicks vs a punt is like night and day and some guys just cant comfortably do it...and to risk things with a guy not comfortable at it...when 80 percent of punts are fielded inside your 20 yard line is playing with fire when there is no need too...especially when the guy better at it can do so much on defence, while the other is sure nice on offence....but not needed nearly as much...we have too many guys as it is to spread the ball around as it is, and why take away targets from Lawler...Schoen...Demski....not necessary Dline is the spot that needs the most rotation, as you are playing a guessing game, in pursuit, and being reactive...O-line not so much as they are being the aggressor and know the play call and the responsibility...it's a huge difference

Parker looked so natural doing it...cause...well...he has done it before....for the bulk of the meat and potatoes part...It was just Mcrae and Parker doing it.....and Parker also on defence is so usefuland made a play every time he was targeted in practice, And Garbutt looks legit...he's thick too...but athletic thick...looks like a baller....A lil bigger version of Haba in my opinion Didn't see anyone other than Jackson doing FB duties...so my gut tells me he could be rostered, again....and we go with a lean Dline again...which truly sucks and if u ask me....dumb as I saw 2 guys (Garbutt and Fox) who could make major contributions with that defensive rotation...and if we sucked it up and actually used the Nationalized American rule...could really field a ferocious front Interesting side note #1 was Walker talking up and teaching some young guys on the dline some responsibilities on certain sets, and what to watch for #2 Biggie is truly a coach on the field...overhead and intently listened in when he came over to ask Hall about a certain set...I wont say which...and certain responsibilities in situation A, and situation B...And if it wouldn't be better to do something different...I won't get into detail here, but they hashed a few things out right there on the spot, and likely is going to be a lil tweak.... All in all a very upbeat high tempo practice...abd didnt see anyone of note hobbling...All the 6 gamers I saw (Clements/Haba/Hansen/Gauthier) were very active and look no worse for wear and gotta be close...Prob won't get pulled early as we can only do it 1 more time...but we will have a glut of health shortly if nobody gets dinged Didnt see Miller or Grant anywhere.but from experience were either getting treatment...or doing things elsewhere away from prying eyes
