Thing is..we coulda realized we had a dud at center..wasted 3..4 yrs of largish salary there where we could have targeted a FA but we didnt..thats also where the good teams fortify and transition their lines..we wasted salaries on guys like biggie and some others too long as well where it could have been used elsewhere..thats where we failed..no succession plan in the works..and if we had a guy he never got reps The draft is generally a crap shoot..good for depth and the odd star..but for most part its backfilling roster and a small amount of guys you evaluate and target for adequate back up spots..and possible upside diamond in rough guys..we have failed immensely there as we target guys with good special teams resume and thats it..like I said before.. anyone with any athletic ability can play teams...so target the possible potential guys for the teams Yup..like I said...anyone can play teams..and if a high potential guy is there..he can play teams...a no potential guy offers you nothing but teams..and even then the blue chippers are prob better Look at Smith..Shay..for example..some of best teams ghys we have..and both should have been getting defensive reps.last yr if not actually considered for starting spot..Like legit considered.. not the b.s we pull in camp

Yeh....Reg season success in the last few ys...even tho that is diminishing didn't equate to anything in postseason...Even the yr we won the Cup...It wasn't really due to ZC play Thank god we got Brown when we did...as he wouldnt have been available to us shortly after unless we wanted to pay a lot...Cause if both BC and Hamilton was vyingfor a QB...The price would have sky rocketed I can see...tho I Dont want to see it is teams Kicking the tire of Perkins...or us dangling him and if we could get a legit playmaker on offence for him...which probably isnt unrealistic exchange of assets...that could happen...we know that if Kyle told Osh he was looking to move ZC...Ol Mikey boy would have a BF..So Walter's if it gets to that needs to yank up his big boi GM pants and tell his HC to go lay down. He likely gives any team that needs a starter now the best chance to win now...and used right, on a team with actual weapons, would prob be very successful That being said if Dru keeps on winning...and with this lineup and being only 29...I'm hitching my wagon to him on a 3 yr deal and building a team around him moving forward and be shopping TE as I sure some clown show management group would pay handsomely for him.....I dont care about a Canadian Pivot any more than I care about getting kicked in the Junk...and really...we all know ZC is done here...if not already this yr...definitely next and we dont have the time to wait on TE to develop...if he ever will, while we already have a starter in the room...who we likely extend on a nice team friendly fair deal for both sides. The fact not one team in the NFL saw the idea of picking him up and being a viable QB...not a starter but a viable QB2 to develop...or could even be developed tells me more than I need to know. And from what I have seen to date...He is a long way off from being a reliable starter...if he ever is...Big Arm...doesn't equate to a big impact...we've seen that tons of times up here

and its not shocking actually...pretty easy to see. yeah he wasnt the main culprit...but he is a major reason for the 4 yr slide in record and end resuts He panics now...cant navigate in pocket anymore...and his arm is not what it was...not a good trio of traits for your 600k a yr QB

We have our disagreements from time to time and makes good discussion....but couldn't agree more..and would feel same way if it was a player here..there...anywhere No excuse for that now..and I wanna know was this after a team gathering or function of some type and others left and did same thing and got lucky on drive home..or was it just a isolated incident of one guy making a poor choice...if nothing was set up for guys to get home safe is drinking was gonna be involved...shame on them

won and yes football is a team game and most times...u need several aspects to win But...and a big but you need guys to take advantage of....and utilize whats going on..and whats given...or not given to get that win...especially at QB....Dru did that....and was given a horrible game plan...he been saddled with a receiving group thats less than I deal and we basically have a wasted spot where it has no relevance on the game whatsoever...and he just made plays to win

He was enamored with his big thighs..fell in love and that was game over..starter even if not earned..he wasn't best of the rest in camp. yikes...adds a different layer to things...tragic and sad...so pretty evident he was impaired, or just not a high character guy. and factor in we dont know if the WR made the wrong cut..move etc....Was clear on several throws that were not close to being intercepted....or caught forthat matter that Dru and Wilson in particular were on different thought processes...I saw no problem with Dru's game last night...he won that for us...I not sure ZC couldve he had guys in his face right thru center...unimpeded almost...Not on Perkins yeah...Thats why i said earlier Dru was main reason we won based on what we gave him to work with and the support he got on offence, and the exclusion of BO....was ugly as heck and he did what he had to, almost adlibed it seemed to win

I would assume with the stuff in his vehicle...the fact he was in the wrong lane...sadly its a good chance he was impaired....sad story all around for sure....as it was totally preventable

thats why id like us to bring Rhymes in...He doesnt have to be "the man" but he'd be that guy we need to be a downfield guy to win contested balls to aid in White/Wilson/Demski getting less attention, and Cob getting minumum....and Corcoran getting none

that being said...If our recievers could have caught the 4 or 5 easy drops too we would have probably also won....evened out haha

T.O tho had injury issues...Generally its Ungerer...Coxie didnt play I'd actually contact Rhymes and see if he willing to lace em back up...we could use a guy in the group who has attitude...can play like a dickweed and irritate defenses and add some physicality. Its not like he some old washed out guy running on fumes...was almost a 1000 yard guy last yr and can win battles...and blocks well...he'd be a nice option to clear/open up space for our other guys, and help in run game downfield.... yeah Coxie was out last game...so they subbed in a schmuck

I'm not too concerned with dline...WJ is being WJ but thats a result of no other dead weight on the dline, when we used to play 2...at times 3 guys who just plain sucked Reese is legit and coming on real good...And Gatkouth is too actually...I really like his discipline in the run game and not cheating...Dixon back and will help, and he's versatile...Fletcher is getting better and that comes with reps, and when Dixon is good to go I'd be more than okay with a Lawson and Ceresna DT pair, and WJ...Reese..Dixon...Fletcher and Gatkouth group....Ideally be nice to swap Fletcher with a true line busting nose/DT and we should be on hunt for one but that group used right will be a pretty good front WR group tho needs a shakeup of some kind....

Center issues again....and like you mentioned in another post...if we did some play action stuff and runs with motion and MCI and BO together....that MCI toss would produce big...as well as spread the dline and give BO less to deal with for his interior runs, or anything off tackle But hate to beat a dead horse, but that 3rd Canadian WR is not helping us at all....Hopefully when Clercius is back we use him in the slot and it becomes an actual position that needs attention and we not as handi-capped. I hope he and Nield are used in rotation and at times together...Clercius has solid hands and wont drop many...if any. Nield for most part so far has been kind of a disapointment...is it our scheme and use of him...or was last yr just an abberation?...we shall see...he has all the tools so I have high hopes Cobb give him kudos for the convert catch. His veteran awareness was key as he knew where to go, and recognized to get there immediately. He has value for us as the backend Canadian WR to support the 3 top Canadians...of which we should only really be starting 2 of, and is a steady reliable returner....he isnt a game breaker but he is serviceable and wont hurt you if pressed into action in a game...Corcoran serves zero purpose...We have Daniels to groom as a blocking receiver and a better option mismatch wise to get yards on short range catches...and possibly rumbling for yards. He has upside and potential..Corcoran just is what he is...And I have a hard time seeing him make any other roster And on the short yardage runs...he was useless...on the Perkins stuff he did absolutely nothing yeah people say the 5th is a non issue and wont see any targets...thats a load of crap...and doesn't have to be a wasted spot...Other teams use theirs...and if they dont they take attention away from the top guys...its just stupid wasted rostering...and even with just 2 National Oline guys...we still dont have to use 3 Canadians to meet ratio...we can easily use the Nationalized American, and or any 2 of Kramdi..Smith...Lawson...Kelly on defence to support ratio requirement...Its just a choice by Osh...and an extremely useless dumb one at that couldnt agree more.....2...3 small tweaks with how we ratio our roster would fix a lot
