Yeah...was gonna mention that too...that's interesting for sure But the leading reciever in the fancy stats...2nd down conversions...avg yds per catch..all the while doing it as a rookie and with under 80 grabs not making it is laughable..but they dont care...they have eye on a diff prize

Yeah was getting a bit much...especially when other Canadian stars were basically an after thought it seemed...like he was the ultimate thing ever produced with a Canadian birth certificate...and really..what about the several dozen kid Canada's in the nfl...if anything they are kid Canada's playing in the most elite league

Yeah...I gave up posting on riderfans and just couldnt have legit convo..just ended up in juvenile stupidity...and attacks...even when fact based Was also shocked to find out the age of some the posters there too...you would think they were pre teen and teens with a smattering of living in mama's basement 20 somethings...sadly that isnt the case...I do go there and read daily tho for pure entertainment

Pretty much...its still a bit of a popularity thing.. and old boys club thing...

yeah I agree.....Whatever team that signed him and let him be the guy is bigtime responsible for his second shot at the NFL...Without that, or if he was relegated to a sneak specialist he would indeed be a non-issue south of border..and even up here for that matter....NFL thought of him as nothing more than TC fodder...and at receiver at that even after stellar College numbers Same thing with Strev...He was totally a non-factor down there, and any interest was as a camp arm...or as a receiver...so he opted to sign here with the chance to be a QB...and it worked out well for him, as it opened eyes down south to him..Strev even has said if not for what he learned here, and chance to compete he wouldn't have had a shot

yup...and the doctors know more than us....he refuted several case studies on that exact procedure on the timelines, so i see no defense warranted...watching him hobble around at the awards ceremony last night was proof positive, and a bit sad actually....90 percent of guys coming back from that never get back to their former self, and those are guys who were smart enough to allow the full recovery period and rehab...not guys who came back months early...let alone guys who came back before the hardware was even removed...so dumb but do hope it works out for him....as it was clearly obvious his accuracy...escapability and velocity on his throws was a shadow of what it was pre-injury
-
I said right from start he was at risk..as did many others....and thats confirmation of it right there...he even alluded that it was expressed to him by doctors it was not the preferred avenue to take if u read between the lines Also paragraph 9 also shoots holes thru the 80k return to play idea for 2023...oh excuse me..88k

possible same option yr arguer??...😕
-
thats more a mental/prebuilt excuse example of preventative maintenance hahaha
-
@bluto good guy...knowledgeable and thinks realistically as an opposing fan...Much like @greenrider55 as they aren't blinded by the stupidity of others...that being said eff the Argo's...and don't even have to say eff the Riders right now...they doing a good job of that internally....I say it all in good fun as well...But it's go time now, and if my mama was on the other team I'd run her ass over to win
-
yeah but someone said it's impossible..theres the 10% rule clad in iron..wrapped in titanium....so this cant be true....hahaha...cause there is an "option" for it not to be true
-
Zacks played spatted up before...so have others...Willie has before...some games he hasnt....a lot of times its field/weather condition dependant...I bet you will see a lot of guys spatted in a cold frozen field type game....total non issue...preventative maintenance like an olineman wearing a knee brace
-
i can assure...regardless of what someone says that that option isnt binding...u either pick it up....or re-do a new extension That being said...Rourke will go along same lines as us with Kongbo....he came back as a true free-agent after 1 yr of his rookie entry deal...and could have signed with anyone for anything (and we had competition and made best offer btw) because we released him from that entry deal, and it became null and void....and thats what will happen...he will be released from the deal, essentially "not picking up the option"...again...key fricken word here...option...and he can sign anywhere...for anything....and btw...happens a lot...u just dont hear about it
-
i dunno...what breaks were big events?...if anything I see a lot of breaks going against us to even get to cup in 2021...They first hald of the WF for one...Dukes non catch...Playiong in front of a Hamilton home crowd...
-
hence the dare to dream haha...I can see one tho
-
nope...rarely actually....and I can tell you that from first hand experience with draft picks the last decade Fact of the matter...BC has come out on multiple occasions lately saying with no doubt or ambiguity that 2023 they will not be paying their starting QB 80k next yr, whether it be VA..or Rourke and it will be in line with CFL starter money...plain and simple...cut and dried I also still stand by my offer that if He is Back next yr for 80k +10% i will never post again....put my money where my mouth is....if a certain someone will stand by their "assumption" and disappear for good if he is playing for more...you so confident and sure of yourself...stand by it and agree
-
that pic right there encapsulates why we are going to dominate sunday...they huddled around that heater...we shut ours off... Oakman is good....not difference maker...and that pic too is all about angle/perspective But lord almighty to add him in the middle with Maulden rotating with the Jeffs...dare to dream....dare to dream haha
-
yeah that is kinda crazy eh?...and he was virtually ignored first 3rd of season....if he saw any targets would have locked down his first 1k season and double digit TD's...bu his blocking and rout running cleard out the way for others...and he got his due as the grind went on..
-
agree....i see him and or Ellingson being huge cause U know the Argos are gonna focus on Schoen..Demski and BO...and we all know what happens here when that happens....other guys step up and flourish
-
could see Sheed being a huge impact sunday
