In all honesty/reality...we don't know what we can afford or are willing to pay, and also don't know who the team has already decided thatthey will be moving on from....Also a player like Stan if he had a pretty good feeling that he was done after this yr has likely told the team...so they can allocate his potential salary gain elsewhere already, and know what they may need to use out of 2023 6game savings for re-upping for 2024 to ease the 2024 SMS ...lots in play, and we will be able to keep whom/what we want...And you can bet Schoen and Lawler will both be back next yr...Bailey too...Especially if we win this yr.....if we don't he may move on

I dunno....A QB isn't just what SASK needs for any semblance of turning things around, and truthfully....a QB going there is gonna suffer, and to expect Dru to do there, what he seems to do with ease here....he will get ruined there, and likely be a negative career defining time for him. If Strev was to come back next yr, With the 2qb rule being on field together I'd offer him a fair deal, as 1B but also an incentive laden one for TD's ...Yards....etc...And use him at same time...TE on big packages...2 RB set...where you dont know if he will run or pass....Use the heck out of him...Short Yardage specialist......You could effectively replace JA...Jackson and Prukopp salaries with Strev....get 2 firt yr entry level guys to fill the roster spots of Jackson and Auggie, and also wouldnt have to waste a DA spot with Jackson who offers nothing that anyone else could...thats what I would do when he is reay...Likely this spring...He will be contacting us first and foremost and give us every chance to get a deal done before he looks elsewhere if it doent suit him

Brown can easily be kept...give him a bump ..plus whatever Prukopp is getting which isn't minimum and your 3rd string guy next yr is an entry level guy You also have a per start clause if ZC gets hurt...and gives club incentive to 6 game him and take that salary off the books and let him heal properly...and if Brown is real deal then we don't miss a beat We need to get Eli and Dobson in starting role so Kolo is out....and not that I want to lose him but Neuf is obvious choice to free up some $$...or risk losing Dobson who would likely go somewhere to play Even the dumping of Thomas money helps as well Plus...Brown may see himself as heir apparent and not even wanna leave..be interesting to see what pans out
