I'd like to see Ford ..Kramdi or player X who is Canadian battle for that spot and best player get it ..not who's been here longer or who "works hard" in practice...as they should all be or they should be gone. If Holmie is back he's your safety ..we don't need a heavy hitter there...need a guy to track and close on balls in the air. Work with 3 online and Demski and Woli as your nationals on offense...A Canadian SAM and a Canadian rotating on the DLine... Lawson is a lock...hopefully one of Mason Bennett or Kongbo can be the other guy..

I mentioned the savings there....those are all three guys north of 100k....same with miller...broke it down a while back with i think 7 vets dumped and replaced at entry level or second yr deals from another teams guy coming off first yr contracts frees us up over 300k alone There is a lot of cheddar to shave without really ousting key vets....Jeffcoat I love, but age now and ability to be a force all yr make him expendable..I like Haba...I see Garbutt as even better....and we will bring in new blood too We paid/pay a lot to ST only guys who offer nothing but teams work...and thats going to change....and our draft strategy as well needs to evolve

yeah...we have money...it's bang for buck decisions, and where to allocate bigger buck's that aren't necessarily easier to replace. Thats why I see Schoen signed at expense of BO....unless there is a major shift occuring. And as @Mike said we shedding money in several areas....and with all the draft picks, ST guys on 3rd and fourth deal will be snipped, as well as a few vets. Just hope tho with our picks we pick actual guys who project to more than teams....that philosophy has hampered our over all depth of late, as we were flush with aged teamers, but ones who couldn't really do much more than that

ZC has taken a beating the last yr and for a good part of 2022....from being unscathed basically all his other time here...who was center when all that started?....a lot of issues from an O-line start from inside out, but may appear others are losing in their assignments....some here know what I talking about, and what is the common denominator in the poundings....

Gray is a better guard...can swing out to tackle and can take reps at center as they have practiced him there..Kolo is a one trick pony, and one who can't win the pony derby....Give Gray that money, as Eli should be the center which would relegate Kolo to 6th anyway...... dont like it...scram....and osh has a penchant for playing guys he likes...over guys who truly deserve it/or are better....believe to not believe it all you want but 140k for a guy who at best should be our 6th guy, and one who can only adequately play one spot is poor allocation of SMS....Nice subtle shot tho....not to be unexpected by the misinformed, and lacking certain knowledge I see tons of football players every year....coach and develop and Kolo as much as many here wanna deny it, is a very weak link....Just cause Osh plays him doesn't make it otherwise

knew this was a forgone conclusion...as I said expect it in Jan..well they waited to last day. Very economical price tag, and love the 1 yr deal as well, so as to revisit in the next off-seasn. People will be surprised at how different he is as a passer now, and being out from under Lapo here who stagnated him will be huge, and I know we are gonna see a lot of 2 QB packages this summer...good luck with that opposing defences. Schoen will be next, and best of the rest I bet will gauge what market has to offer now...tho I think we could see a Hardrick 1 yr deal sooner than later I think this as well puts the nail in the BO coffin unless he realizes that no market is being set, and fair value is his best interests....if not i think we pull a shocker and lock down Oullette...will gave same as BO for less, and has a bit more explosiveness to him as well

Schoen actually runs a mid 4.4...he's not pedestrian by any means. Knock on him was his walk on status, and some bizarre weaknesses that he has shown none of in the CFL was perceived as a poor route runner, and bad out of his breaks, and had poor hands and skills with ball....even questioned his football IQ and instincts Goes to show you how walk-ons are looked at and are behind the 8 -ball from the get go post College...
