  1. I just don't see how a West QB will win this year with such outstanding performances by Burnham, Harris, and Begelton. No QB should win by default.
  2. Sure, but I highly doubt it's Fajardo. He's exceeded expectations like Nichols in 2017, but he's not even an upper echelon QB let alone MOP.
  3. You are smoking crack if you think that Fajardo is the heavy favorite for MOP. Its MOP not MVP and by no metric is Fajardo the most outstanding player in the West.
  4. I saw Brock throw a ball through the uprights from midfield in pre-game...from his knees. Not wind aided either.
  5. Streveler can be inaccurate on short to medium throws. Its more a timing thing usually.
  6. What else are you going to say when you have Milt though. Sure it doesn't take a genius to figure that out, but it does demonstrate that when Lapo has a guy who can do it he takes advantage.
  7. I agree. I think Chris Streveler will have a very successful future in the CFL. He's not there yet though. However, the only apt comparison listed in the QBs is BLM and Mike Reilly. The rest had the benefit of beginning their starting careers in the 60's.70's 80's which allowed for a crap load more of mistakes than the game allows for now. So in that context, both BLM and MR were not immediately successful. Neither guy started out as a starter immediately. They both mentored as backups under very good QBs before getting their chances at starting. Also, Mike Reilly's first year as a starter...you might want to check his win/loss record on that season. It took him a year of starting before he learned how to win too.
  8. Winnipeg is a metropolis compared to Regina or Saskatoon and to suggest otherwise is idiotic.
  9. There are not a lot more Rider fans than Bomber fans. We just don't dedicate all our spare time to the Bombers. Other interests like pro hockey, big city entertainment, actual lakes and rivers (not man made resevoirs) to visit and use in the summer time, and a multitude of other things that Sask cannot offer to it's residents due to the diminutive size of it's cities, keep us busy. I suppose if I lived in a province as devoid of opportunities as Saskatchewan my spare time might be all spent being a Bomber fan. Fortunately, we do not have to be fanatical in Winnipeg. We have lots of things to do and the Bombers are just one of them. You keep stroking your Rider jersey in boredom and trolling Bomber sites if that's what gives you relief from the boredom that living in Saskatchewan surely must bring. However, lets call a spade a spade. Your fanbase suffers from little man syndrome. Because you live in a province with big towns and no cities you guys are like chihuahuas. Always yapping at the bigger dogs in the yard trying to prove your cities measure up and the Riders have become the extension of this because it is literally the ONLY thing Sask has on the national stage. Fortunately for us here in Winnipeg, we use a much bigger ruler to measure our size, it's called the NHL. You guys aren't even in the same weight division.
  10. Saskatchewan's chain just became more controversial. A bride from My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding show is complaining that the Riders chain was taken from her wedding dress ensemble. She wants it back and has offered the Riders the use of her Bedazzler to make their own.
  11. Adrian Hubbard as well
  12. What are the odds that our chain is cool and yours looks like it belongs in an inbreeder rap video.
  13. I disagree. Streveler certainly has the ability to help the rest of the team win the Grey Cup. He will need lights out play from the defence, OL, and an inspired gameplan from Lapo to do so but it's certainly not a lost cause.
  14. No one wants to have a conversation with a guy acting like an A-hole. NicktheSizz wants to have a pecker measuring contest, most adults will decline the invitation. Not because they fear they don't measure up, but because it is juvenile.
  15. Our gameplan both on O and D can be a headscratcher sometimes, but realistically it is this exact gameplan that wins cold weather games. I think our execution on Saturday would win in the playoffs. We just need good execution when we get there and we will have a very good chance if the weather is not optimal.
  16. No more tedious than reading constant Bomber negativity. Just saying...
  17. We have figured it out already and other teams will too.
  18. Yea...you were quite lucky that the Stamps were off there game.
  19. Andrew Harris can't run anymore, Als couldn't finish first. Do you ever get tired of looking like a complete moron? You just reinforce every comment ever made about how delusional Rider fans can be? Never change. You think you are getting under our skin when, in fact, we are chuckling and patting ourselves on the back for being so right about your fan base. Even other Rider fans must be just cringing at how badly you are being manhandled here...and you are the one sticking your own chin out saying "thank you sir may i have another".
  20. I can't wait to see Fajardo fail in his 1st playoff game. His little gadget duck under will not fly in the playoffs.
  21. RileysRompers you picked the Bombers to finish last in the West over on Riderfans….so maybe stfu you troll. Coming on here pretending to be a Bomber fan under an assumed name when within an hour you started two identical threads on two separate forums, one here as Brock Streveler the Bomber fan and one as RIleysRompers the long time Riderfans members and staunch tent pole of the desk fort. Shameless...you are giving Migs a run for his money as most mentally unbalanced Riderfan troll. Who does that? If you are a RIder fan come on here with your big Saskatchewan boy panties on and face the heat of your trolling instead of pretending to be a Bomber fan. My god...how sad.
  22. His win loss record in Saskatchewan was quite impressive. He will never win a game by himself, but he proved he could do just enough to win last year behind a strong defence. If Streveler goes down, ZC provides us a chip and a chair. That's what we traded for. We were never going to get a bonafide starter in October but we got a guy who had a great win/loss record last year, has experience, and might just be able to do enough to ride a hot defence in the playoffs.
  23. More experienced for sure. We can't throttle Strev back on his running because, as we saw the last couple weeks, he is no good unless he can take off. We couldn't let him run wild without insurance either. This a move born out of necessity.
  24. Quit saying 'we" RileysRompers and go back to Riderfans you troll.
  25. Streveler has to show a better ability to read a defence than he does now to play run and shoot...that's for sure. BTW, haven't you heard? Brock Streveler aka RIleysRompers from RIderfans has informed us that Andrew can no longer break tackles anyway.
