What is wrong with Biggie's stats...right near the top..and reputation..well he's got quite the reputation. He's the all star at MIKE and he's not coming out of left field doing it.

Wow....I don't think you are watching the same Bighill as I am....perhaps his brother Norman? Bighill is definitely the best MIKE in the West this year. It's not just tackles with Biggie he is picking off balls 25 yards downfield, and is blitzing then chasing down guys in the flats. He is a beast this year. 2019 I would have definitely agreed with you but there is nothing over rated about Biggie this year.

The game will sell out. Very rarely does a team get 6 weeks to drum up corporate and business support for a fixed date. This is very doable. Actual attendance will depend on the weather primarily but I suspect that a lot of businesses will buy and raffle tix off.

Why would you take out 2011? If he owns the losses he also owns the wins. It's only fair. He got a crap team in 2010 and again this year in Ottawa. I'm not suggesting he is a great HC, far from it, but one has to admit he has walked into two HC jobs on teams that were a dumpster fire.

I think we should be sprinkling in some Augustine especially in the 2nd half of games after BO has worn down the Lbers. I don't think Augustine is an every down back but 4-5 carries a game would keep the defence on it's toes.

Dressing room and SMS move for sure, but not because Arbuckle is a dink though. QB controversies can be tough in a locker room and Dinwiddie likely just wanted to end it in Toronto and give MBT a vote of confidence heading down the stretch.

Why wait? Once you have determined a GM is crap there is no point holding onto him any longer. Coaches are different, it's tough to make a mid season change and probably won't help anything competitively but replacing your GM is something that should be done at the soonest point it becomes apparent it is necessary. Lots of groundwork can be done right now to set up the future. Wow....that's cheap. Not a QB seller market this year.

Pretty sure it was Rigmaiden who declined the Als and honestly I would think McManus might get a shot before Goveia. Richie Hall ran this same blitz. sometimes with the safety, regularly when he was DC in Saskatchewan.

True. However, you lose nothing by 6 gaming a player even if you are reasonably sure you will have him sooner. If there is an off chance he won't return you hedge your bets and place him on there. In this case he is not technically on the 6 game IR he is on the season ending IR. He is still eligible for playoffs even if not taken off prior. There technically is no salary for playoffs but you do lose the SMS relief if he plays in the playoffs.

Where did you hear this? Right now all I've heard is various degrees of speculation. This could be a tweak of his injury earlier this season or a season ender or anything imbetween really. None of us have a clue as to the severity and the Bombers definitely aren't going to tell us.

If your question is whether Brady can be good enough to keep our RB a NAT position I think he has already answered that. He has two 100 yard games already in limited action, our offence seems to be just fine with him in there. He struggled a bit against TO in the back to back but they are a pretty solid front 7. He's a rookie and will only get better.

Luckily our receiving from the backfield is not as important to our success as in past years. We can shut Andrew down for the regular season, put in Brady who will go for 70-100 yards rushing a game and not miss a beat. We are not running the Lapo short game anymore. Had this development occurred in late 2019 it would have been far more devastating to us than it is now. I think Oliveira has been very impressive so far in his first season. Like all rookies he will become more consistent and just needs more reps. The guy can run. I would like to see him get more involved in the short passing game in the flats and then we will not miss a beat post-Harris. I certainly would give BO at least another season of FT duty before even thinking about that. He's shown he is capable imo. Also, Harris is not just the best NAT RB he has been the best RB period. There is no reason to believe we will find an IMP of that quality very easily either. I will add that Buck seems to be a lot less reliant on monster performances from his RBs game in and game out.

No surprise really. I think if he had to play he could but we have the luxury of shutting him down for the season. I would be shocked if he wasn't back for the playoffs.

Nah....snowmobiles have awesome suspension nowadays and groomed trails really save your back. I had an 08 Seadoo and it was a backbreaker...but I am upgrading this year and buying my buddy's FishPro. I drove it last year and it has built in suspension on the seat. Night and day. I have a pontoon on my home lake but it's nice to have an easy load, trailer. tow unit for when I want to go to other lakes. Not sure about travelling in avalanche country though....that would likely make me nervous too.

I trust the coaches to use our talent to the max.

Don't get me wrong....Rose is a top 3 DB in the CFL. He will upgrade us too, but we were fine without him is what I'm getting at. For us he is a luxury signing, for our rivals he would have been a HUGE instantly make their team a lot better and close some of the talent gap kind of signing.

Rose was not a necessary signing for us because he significantly upgrades us, he was a necessary signing for us because of the amount he would upgrade someone else if we didn't sign him. There is no way we could let Rose walk to a division rival at this point of the season. Imagine the upgrade he would represent to Calgary, Saskatchewan or BC's secondaries. I wouldn't want Zach facing him and now we don't have to worry about that. I guess a lot depends on how fast he can pick up their offence really.

I think Eli is our most likely candidate to get a legit NFL chance. He has the huge advantage of actually being on the NFL radar before. Desjarlais, Stove, Alford all have UDA pedigree and would need to go the workout to futures route. The NFL is not coming for them they have to have good agents working them hard for opportunities. Eli likely has some eyes looking at him already though. Whether he has done enough for a team to bring him in remains to be seen though. Name recognition is huge in the NFL though, and NFL scouts have actually heard of Eli.

I'll vote Walters for Canada's next PM even if he doesn't get Oakman....heck I'll vote for anyone over our current slate of choices. If Walters can build Canada like he did the Bombers we'd be in far better hands than we are now.

Yea..I heard he still has access to the Bombers training facilities and medical staff. Can't participate in meetings or practices and is not under contract but not out of the Bombers plans yet. Reports were he was having a great camp until his set back.
