They've never recovered from Buff leaving. We have also had the same defense coach for the past 11 years. It's probably a combination of the system and the players. We need new leadership, and we need new coaches that bring about a culture change. If Friedman is saying big changes are on the way, then maybe management finally realizes this team hit it's ceiling 2 years ago. You have a link for what he said? I'm curious.

Agreed somewhat, I think they are over performing this year. MAF doesn't look good, so unclear if he will get them past the first round this year.

Isn't it their job to say stuff like this to continually stoke interest in the team? They have to drink the Kool-Aid. You won't hear any Jets broadcaster tell you otherwise until they are officially out of the playoffs. And mathematically they're not eliminated, so it's easy filler for any media outlets to say the Jets are still in the playoff race because it's true. I think most of us are resigned to the fact that they will miss the playoffs and we want Chevy to make some more moves for next year.

Keyword... May... These are the Jets...

Ffs hellesuck. That goal should not have gone in. Another 4 goals against, from a team that played the night before!

Set it up iheart!

And 2-1 Chicago after some brain-dead plays. And tied now. Yeesh

Nice wraparound by #27.

Well here's the golden opportunity blown. **** Boston and the ******* Boston reffing. What another display of shitty reffing

And **** sake. Our pp is costing the game.

Thought for sure we were down and out. Tie game and now we're on the pp. It needs to click. Just shoot the damn puck and look for a rebound

What a sloppy o-zone play leading to the first goal. They played well 1st period. Not sure what happened. And not a single shot on net. FFS and Hellebuyck is undressed.

Get ready for the collapse... Or not.... JoMo with a blast for 6-3

Bronx cheer for your first shot on net in 13 mins is well deserved. Stop bitching 26. 5-1 going into the 3rd. Play smart and take the 2pts home. Go Jets Go!

I almost wish the Jets were 10+ pts out of the playoff picture. With them now being only 4 points behin, management might start thinking this is a playoff team. Anyways I don't think the Jets will make the playoffs and we need to retool for next year. Perfetti has shown he's ready and it's too bad he got injured. I'd shop Copp and Stastny, and Beaulieu, although Copp's injury likely derailed any trade talk now.

What a ******* joke that non call on scheifs was. But PLD wins it!!

Hey if St Louis scores another one we'll keep the 4 goals given up a game streak!

What a goal by KFC! And you gotta feel for Copp. He likely is concussed.

What a backcheck by KFC. 55 should take note!

Officiating has been brutal the last little while.

4 goals against again. I don't know why I consistently put myself thru this torture

40 secs of futility... And not even 10 shots on goal.

It lessens the sting of losing Laine. Still though I like PLD as a centre, he won't have the scoring touch like Laine, but is more gritty and hardnosed.

Jets closing the shot gap. Really entertaining game

Well the pk had to crack eventually. But it's no longer automatic the other team scores. Decent first period. Love the effort.
