It's time to hand the ball to Streveler.
Arnold_Palmer replied to White Out's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I think I agree and look Matt has been a professional, he’s been a winner, and he is a big part of our team becoming one of the best franchises in the CFL but he has not been the same since his injury and I think most of it is mental. The second the pocket breaks down instead of stepping into the pocket, or getting rid of it then and there he will put the ball down and throw it Harris for minimal gain or take the sack. Also the sign of a strong quarterback is confidence. If you hate interceptions so bad you’re unable to take a risk or stretch the field then I think it’s about time to take a seat because a confident quarterback will forget about the interception and go back to business. Now I know Lapolice is partially to blame but if you’re going to go with a run heavy conservative game you might as well put Streveler in to keep the defense honest on the run option which gives us more flexibility. -
Lapo, the most conservative guy I’ve ever seen who’s also trying to be the smartest guy in the room. Jesus Christ. I don’t want to see Matt Nichols on the QB draw.
-
Well Nichols has more passing yards then Arbuckle but let’s talk about how inferior he is. Play calling has been poor again tonight by Lapo.
-
I’ve noticed terrible spots for Winnipeg at least three or four times, and favourable spots for Calgary on more than one occasion. This is brutal. Way to go Medlock for preserving the drive with points at least, but wow.

Pretty easy to hit a wide open guy. Not a good series for the defense and Richie Hall needs to make some adjustments.

2019 CFL Season: Around the League

Saskatchewan fans seemed to like Cam Marshall but then again it’s Saskatchewan. They were telling me how impressed they were with our indoor plumbing back at the banjo bowl. -
We need more then 6 second half carries for Andrew Harris, I need to see Lapo and Nichols stretch the field more and for god sakes let’s stop game planning and playing not to lose. If we’re up by more then ten points at any point I don’t want to see us go into conservative mode. I’m feeling optimistic tonight!

Technically we have the best record in the CFL so it’s kind of funny to me. -

Does anyone know anything about him? -
You know the thing is his mechanics are a little off and you can tell he’s un comfortable in the pocket, similar to what happened to drew willy but not as severe as a case. I think partially some of it is mental. It’s too bad. I’ve been a Matt Nichols supporter ever since he got here but I think it’s nearly time for a change.

It’s intetesting because Matt Nichols was excellent in 2017 in close games/game winning drives. I had no confidence that if Toronto took a lead we’d be able to pull out a win. I don’t want to write off Nichols after two underwhelming performances, however it’s clear he can’t stretch the field on a constant basis anymore. Thursday will be a big test to see where we stand.

I can’t defend Matt Nichols any further. 2017 is ages ago and he just isn’t the same player since his injury. -

Good trade for Saskatchewan for getting ANYTHING for Colloras. He’s done. -
5-1 might as well be 1-5 to some people.

Is the glass half full or half empty?

And only 298 yards. What a loser. Can’t even break 300 yards which is the only metric you need in order of judging how good a QB is.

Pregame talk: Bombing the Hammer

A little un related but I met Marcus Sayles last year at the home opener. My sister met him on tinder and gave her free tickets to the game, so naturally she took her big brother lol it was probably a bit of a surprise to him when he saw her with another guy. He invited us to an after party after the game but we declined! Nice guy. -
Worked in the movie “the replacements” I see nothing wrong with this.
