Any chance it might be that? Anything's possible... I can see 8 confirmed starters, plus Thomas and Pontbriand getting significant reps... Which is different that the 9-10 starters you originally claimed. Counting other Canadians that aren't starting but might play as required might be a bit of creative accounting on your part. "Significant reps" =/= starter. If you're going to rant, rant, but don't make stuff up to support your argument. Thread is based on Wiecek saying that Thomas is starting... that would be nine. Pontbriand gets a ton of reps as a FB - not at the expense of Kohlert...

You have a terrible memory then Maybe, just don't recall anyone being excited about re-signing Brohm... I remember people saying the same thing that Goalie stated. And there were quite a few people. Heck, remember when QB's were getting hurt all over the league before Willy did. People were like "I wonder if they're going to trade Marve or Brohm to whichever team". I thought that was just Goalie and TUP...

The only 'friend' hire is Pat Tracey... and he was considered a CFL-ready coach. MB brings in more 'friends' than anyone else - Dahlqvist, Brohm, Boltus, Kelly... its an easy fix.

Do you even watch the games? The Edmonton game was a fkn massacre - Edmonton played prevent all second half and then just stopped Brohm whenever they felt like it. In Calgary, there were no INTs but Brohm coughed up the ball in the red zone when we were still in it. Just because Marve didn't score the TDs himself doesn't mean that we didn't score any... Keep looking up stats if you want, I guess.

Its funny that you keep bringing up his 'only start' as a modest success... The game was basically out of hand by the time Marve came in and almost made a comeback. That's when everyone started cheering for him, ha.
